Lol, you've just reminded my of a great moment in Zoology Yr 1 for me, where we were shown a short clip on Cuttlefish. They change colours using (I believe) chromatopores, which are tiny pores in the skin lined with colour that open and close... also, cuttlefish copulation takes about two seconds XD Watch, as the cuttlefish male swims up beside the unsuspecting female... he JABS her with a tentacle and quickly rockets away, leaving a very confused girl in his wake...

I love my degree...

Sorry to say, but the Ralph Lauren clothes were probably the normal price for the UK: our costs are extortionate!  I know, for example, a foundation brush by Estee Lauder I own was less that half price when I bought it on a American base in Germany

She does sound pretty addled, poor thing, especially the 'it's not in your best interests to be rude to me' bit... she must have pretty good connections!  I guess the best thing to do is be patient, tell her you now make a small charge to cover printing costs, and hope she won't bother you once she learns you're charging... if she's not allowed to make long distance calls fingers crossed I'll be ok! (Not that I'm advertising, but you get the picture :P)

Ooh, I had one man come into the Art Shop whilst I was running it in June, and he set me on edge... his head kept jerking and he was telling me to sit him in a chair and get him to spell words... he spelt 'garden' to me after staring at it on a leaflet for about eight years.... I was soooo worried he might not know what he was doing...

I would say enter him into the friends catagory, just to be safe   They'll probably count anything that doesn't have 'bear' in its name as being a non-bear, altohugh I guess that would make Honey bears ok, and not Pandas!

OOoooh, I am SO tempted right now to do a teeny pink Sloth (following my latest craze) for this event... are non-bears ok, do you think?

What would you say was the best way to approach Marno for samples? Should I write to them? I can get my mail posted here at work so I could do that today... walk home and grab a sample, and then write to them here...

I like the look of the Lynx tissavel, but I don't know if that's right for him... anything light grey or a lighter, cold brown would be wonderful for a sloth I think: the grey could be COPIC'ed to make it into a 'blonde' sloth

Yup, Elsie is now Queen of my particularly teeny hug, which is not really hard as it consisted of her, and my little 'ISSYBEAR' Tang, who I bought when I was 15... he's too small to put up much of a fight :P

I guess we all need that lottery win... if I win big I promise I'll share the bear-related wealth around!

The Little Mermaid shot reminds me: my grandad was in the Submarine Corps when he was younger, and he told me that one night in Copenhagen they all got drunk, swam out to the mermaid ansd painted her green XD.  They had to scrub her clean with toothbrushes the next day when their superior found out...

I guessed the ending with Harry after finding out about the Horcruxes in book 6, but I feel she should have left him sacrificing himself... makes more sense. I was so sure she would, because she's said she's not doing any more HP books.

I really disliked the ending: it paints the wrong, 'and they all lived happily ever after' view on life that the book was about avoiding... still parts of it were great. I especially admired that one fateful chapter where *person* revealed an awful lot: that was lovely, but the other deaths seems to be a bit: 'BANG! he was dead. then something else happened, and we forgot all about them'.

Plus my fav character died!
