Hello all,

I'd like to introduce you to my latest creation, Lumi the Lynx. I love all of the big cats but Lynxes are perhaps the ones I admire the most with their cute ear tufts and sweet, gentle expressions. I do hope that I've represented the family well.

I'm hoping that Lumi might actually be nice enough to try and sell, gulp! I'd really appreciate some feedback here as it would be my very first foray into sales and I find the thought very, very scary indeed. bear_ermm

Aww Sue, sorry to hear that your bear didn't get a nomination. I know just how you are feeling at the moment, I felt the same when the first lot of nominated postings appeared and I hadn't heard anything. I was disappointed but then I picked myself up and with encouragement from some wonderful bear artists I realised that it really didn't matter. I liked my bear and that's what counted. Why not show off your bear here so that we can all see just how wonderful it is.

I've checked out your website and it's looking great btw. Honey is a bear that I still admire very much. If your entry is anything like her then it'll be wonderful.

I am completely thrilled that my bear Kallisto has been nominated in this years British Bear Artist Awards, though it must be said that I haven't officially been told about that fact yet. bear_shocked A friend contacted me tonight to tell me that today she received the latest edition of TBCI (the one that contains the list of all the nominated bears) and MY BEAR IS IN IT!!! It's an odd way to find out that I've been nominated especially since some on here were contacted about the awards weeks ago. I had given up all hope to be honest but I don't care about that now because I am sooooo excited to be a part of the awards.
