Oh my!!
Absolutely, enter her in a competition (or two!!), she is fantastic. You have made a wonderful job of her open mouthed expression. Love it!!

Oh yes, very cute indeed! I just don't know how you make these little ones, they must be so fiddly. You've done a great job on this one.

Here is my second bear creation, her name is Cala, though my youngest son thinks she should be called Little Miss Skinny as she's a lot thinner than my first bear.
She measures approx 11" in length and 7" when sitting. Her 'fur' is distressed mohair with ultra suede for the pads and inner ears. She is filled with a combination of polyfil, pellets and steel shot. I made her claws and the flower round her neck from polymer clay. The flower has Swarovski crystals adorning it cause every girl likes a bit of sparkle, right? She has English glass eyes, an embroidered nose/mouth and I also shaded her face a little.
Please let me know what you think of her. Thank you for looking.
Warmest regards
Lisa
Congratulations!! Milo is a wonderful bear, I'm not surprised that they have decided to feature him.

Oh, he is just gorgeous! Your Mum is so lucky. I wish my kids would make me something like that, not very likely since I have two boys obsessed with computer games and lego etc.

Wow Shelli, Archie is fantastic!! So much detail and he has the most appealing face. Excellent work, are you going to be keeping him?

A big thank you to everyone for their kind comments. I have started with my next bear and have another project lined up for after too. So much to do and not enough time in the day.

She is gorgeous and you are very clever indeed to work without a pattern.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It means so much to hear such a positive response from you guys, I was kind of nervous about posting since your stuff is just so fantastic.
He has a very unique belly, intruiging.
Yes he does doesn't he. I wanted him to have a nice rounded tum and this is how he turned out. I wasn't sure about it at first but now I've grown to like it, perhaps the hours and hours spent pouring over and stitching him might have had something to do with it.
I'm already moving on to my next project but first there is Hugglets to attend. I've never been to a bear fair before and I'm really looking forward to it. My husband thinks I'm mad to travel so far for a bunch of bears. Pah, what does he know! Gosh, I must have it bad.

I'm so excited to have completed my very first bear today.
Please say hello to Arthur, he is 12" tall and 7" when sitting. I made him out of brown tipped gold mohair with ultrasuede paw pads, there are nuts and bolts jointing the arms/legs and a wobble joint in the neck. He has English glass eyes, a softly waxed nose and his claws are made from polymer clay. He insides consist of polyfil, pellets and a small amount of steel shot.
It's been a steep learning curve but I have enjoyed every minute of it.
I really hope that you like him. Constructive criticisms are most welcome.
