I'm so sorry for you Ruth. Perhaps if the post officer is nice .... nothing to pay or have a discount ......
What a surprise for me the first time I received a parcel from the USA and have to pay huge fees for customs!! I'm used to custom fees now and still don't really understand how it works here. I of course know that I have to pay custom fees when I receive parcels out of Europe. But sometimes I have not .... I gave up ... will not try to understand how they calculate their fees ....
Try some yoga before to go to postoffice.

Little story of my beloved cat Iris. As my father was in the French navy, we  moved for 2 years in Sénégal in Africa. We of course moved with our dog and cat. When arriving lately after a long trip to our new home, the cat jumped on the toilets to make her needs. Yours is using a litter??  :crackup:  :crackup:

She's really sweet!!!    I was used to have dogs and cats when I was young thanks to my parents of course. I missed them so much now. Not possible to have a dog when working and more when living in a flat ... 
Perhaps a cat ....... still need to bother my husband ... perhaps one day he will say "Yes you can adopt a cat"... still a dream at this stage... (we are still in our phase of "children or no children".)
But I can show you the new Yorkie of my parents. Yorkies are really clever I think and with a strong character for sure!

For me, he is dark brown.    He looks very cute!
