Eileen ~ Love the cartoon, but seriously, have you ever had that Chocolate Lasagna at an Olive Garden? Mmm.
SueAnn ~ She's adorable. I love her eyes. She looks ....... portly.
Ditto ~ what Shelli said.
Also, we always sang the song as Little Rabbit Froo-Froo.

Where the spirit does not work with the hand there is no art.
~ Leonardo da Vinci
Italian draftsman, painter, sculptor, architect and engineer whose genius epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. 1452-1519
b)
The connoisseur of art must be able to appreciate what is simply beautiful, but the common run of people is satisfied with ornament.
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
German playwright, poet, novelist and dramatist. 1749-1832
Thank you for sharing! Yep ... here's my smile!
Dear Needlefelting type People ~
When you needlefelt (you use a needle with like little razors, right?) onto mohair, don't you kind of damage the backing of the mohair. Are needles available at any craft places you're aware of? Michaels? JoAnn's? Or just on-line?
Hurray for D'Paula! Whoohoo!
Okay, here goes. I'm tryin' your instructions Paula!
Carolyn ~ I'm so sorry to hear about your Hyacinth. It's amazing how much a part of the family pets become.
Shantell ~ Thanks for sharing about the hunting class. This explains a lot about our little dachshund!
You would have to wonder what the market is then, for leg hair for the needlefelted bears. Hmm. Perhaps an opportunity for us?
Don't shave over the winter ~ just braid it.
<howling> ... that's great. Thanks for sharing!
Slowly step away from the bear Shantell. Now fix yourself a cup of chamomile tea and put in one of those thunderstorm or babbling brook cd's.
Smile. Do not have any orange thoughts.
Oh my gosh Dilu ~ thankfully it wasn't serious.
I must say though, you should consider the possibility that the Gollies are being an influence on your bears? Not of course that your bears were responsible for this unfortunate incident ~ the thought just crossed my mind. You should watch out!
Exactly what SueAnn said. The nylon stoppers insure the nut never comes off. In fact, if you ever need to get one off after it's on, and your arm or leg is already closed up ... plan on having two pair long nose pliers on hand. The place I get mine calls them Nylocks. Not sure if that's a brand or just what they call them.
Donna ~
You'll never believe this ... I was just thinking to myself ... bearmakers don't make mistakes ... just opportunities to be more creative! Thanks. I'm working on it!
Hehehe ... you guys!
Unfortunately, SHE already has an identity. Her name is ... shhh ... Eileen. Hope she's not on the board today. Julia, I'm definitely going to think about adding a disclaimer to auction.
ALL other ideas welcome! Will post pic of the spot I'm talking about soon as I hear back from Quy on my technical difficulties. Probably user interface error!
Helena ~ Not really. It's more up on her forehead, to one side. Wish it were the muzzle, lol.
Ugh! Now I know this never happened to any of you .... but what would you do if you took just one or two too many snips when trimming a bears face and left a ... a ... a ... BALD spot.
I'm sick. This is the bear I've been working on while dealing with my Mom's illness (she's getting better) ... so have maybe been a little ... preoccupied. All of a sudden I looked and said ... well nevermind what I said, but you get the idea.
There are a couple of ways I can arrange the fur ... not to hide my boo boo ... but to minimize it. I think I'm going to finish her, put on Ebay anyway with a good close up and see what happens. She is otherwise, really a very nice bear. :(
Just spouting here. (Unreal how it helps to type out a frustration!) Thanks guys!
She's great Danni. I am drawn to the more natural colors too.
Tammy & Marie ~ I actually copied and pasted and enlarged picture of bear looking for a TAM on her head. There isn't one. I just really really really need another cup of coffee. Good news, I did realize that Marie meant to write tummy. <Heading to coffee pot ...>
Danni ~ What Helena said. The objectionable part of your sentence is probably NOT check out my About Me, but rather IS for a link to my website.
Helena ~ I would have to guess that part of Ebay's security system includes some sort of search of auctions for key words that trigger further investigation. (?)
Yay! Jane's back! You do what the doctors tell you now, and take good care of yourself! I have asthma too, and nasty allergies. The goldenrod is killing me this year.
Glad your back.
I like him Heather! I started drawing just one piece of a bear, then two, etc. (Adding my own arm, then leg, etc. to a purchased pattern.) You're brave going all at once!
