Very cool ~ I made it into two categories, "D" (Deb) and "J" (JJ48).  First time for everything I guess.

Shelli ~ I know you must have bears to make or something ... or were you on break when you decided to count how high the SH is. 

I've only been on a short time and I am already developing a love/hate relationship with this board.  I love the bears and the ladies and all the sharing of good ideas.  I hate BLUE SQUARES.  I can't tolerate them.

Okay ... so my sister just called me.  Her boyfriend, an over-the-road trucker called her to tell her to stock up on a few "staples" because he's heard rumblings that truckers (he didn't say whether independent or company) were talking doing some striking because of fuel prices.

Just FYI ... not sure if I believe I need to run to the store or not, but nothing would surprise me these days.

Knew exactly what you were talking about Shelli.  WAY BACK WHEN ... our youth group used to get them and use for putting on tables when we'd do a fund raiser or some other event.  Also, big signs for football games.  I'm calling the newspaper office this pm.

Your guy is still bidding on items, so he has to have access to a pc ... wherever he is.  Keep trying.  Can you request a "read receipt" for the emails you send?

Either that (fusible interfacing) or maybe lightweight fabric applied with spray adhesive.  The glue/water would also work (sounds like the least trouble).

I'm curious to know how you gals pack your creations for shipping.  What method generates the least amount of "fur disturbance"?  Gives the best presentation while traveling safely?

You went to the Bristol night race?!?  I am SOOOOOOO jealous.  Was a great TV race though.  Do you have a favorite driver?   Of course you do!  Come on .... tell!  I have several I like to cheer for (Biffle, Sadler, Johnson, Gordon, Wallace, Martin, Waltrip, Jarrett), and just a couple I don't care for (Harvick, Stewart).

Remember that you're not alone!  I take Celexa for depression/anxiety.  LOL ... I'm anxin' right now ... my Mom is in the hospital and is in poor health ... all brought on by her own neglect of her health.  I have three sisters and a brother; I am the oldest.  Need I say more?  Guess it's life in general and siblings in particular that make you want to bury yourself in a big order of mohair.  Beats plotting a felony.  Hang in there!

Just curious what the buyers Ebay rating is.  If it's high, I'd like to believe he'd like to protect his good % positive feedback.

Sounds like at least the person who bought the $246 Chloe paid the right amount and got the right bear.  My only advice is go have a pedicure and breathe deeply while you wait for your reply.

IMO, I would think an artist would imagine a look and draw a pattern, and knowing how to do that would be the knowledge part (along with the actual assembly) of creating a teddy bear.  Seems the "art" is in the imagination that involves the choosing of the fur and the placement of the eyes, the sculpting of the face, etc.  I wonder too, if whether you are or are not an artist is not up to you or your peers, but rather up to the critics (customers).  (I have no clue, I'm just wondering!) :D
