Oh, he's just wonderful, so glad you shared
I thought I would try to bring this back to the first page as I see Bonnie is here now. We really want to see more of your wonderful avatar bear
Oh, great advice Chrissi , I'm wheat and dairy free also but have only been so since Feb. and do cheat a bit. I drink calcium enriched orange juice and take a calcium supplement as I need to be careful of osteoporosis (sp?) I cannot do soy either and do sorta like some of the rice milks, the vanilla especially. Great advice on the ice cream.
It does take a bit of work but you adjust really quickly and get along well. I still have a bit of problem with social gatherings and eating out but I manage.
Hope your feeling top notch real soon Kim
Yeah, your back!!
   Hope you get it all worked out soon

Great info Krista, thanks for sharing
Oh, thanks , I never thought of using clear nail polish. Do you let each layer dry in between?
Deepest, heartfelt sympathies to all involved and affected .
Super adorable. So nice to see this bear coming together
Wow, 30 coats of varnish. What do you varnish with if it's not to forward of me to inquire?
Can't wait to see the finished bear
Yes, me too, I was going to mention it in another post but didn't want to distract from the post. PLEEESE Bonnie, show us your wonderful avatar bear
Grace Kelly but bordering on Katherine Hepburn and I totally agree
That's me, Grace one minute and Hepburn the next
OH Karen , that sounds wonderful!! I bought a wonderful synthetic a while back that has all different color patches. I bought it because it would make a great cat if it were put toghether right but I never did as I'm not sure where to start in regards to making a cat or kitten. I adore your work by the way
I guess maybe I give up to easily when my skills don't meet my standards of what I would like to create. I look forward to seeing your kitten and all the other wonderful synthetic creations!!
Great bear Tami
but then I am a huge fan of your beautiful bears
Can't commit to a challenge but it's a great idea and I hope I can offer something
Thanks Paula, I have snail dial-up and see there are even more pictures now so the carmel one isn't the last picture. I love the look of all these furs but of course your style just adds to the appeal
Oh, great bears Paula, I just had a visit to the Prefur site and it's so nice to see the furs made into beautiful bears!!
My favorite is the last one with the long carmely color fur. Is that from Prefur also?
I love this topic as I very much love to use a nice ,high quality synthetic. I agree with Shelli about how hard the suede backed synthetics are to sew.
I would love to have an idea of where to buy some nice synthetics and would love to see some pictures of some synthetics that are nice to use.
I was not even aware that there was a schutle synthetic. Very nice to know
Great topic, thanks for the info

Anyone interested in swapping fur ( good quality faux or mohair) for leather swatches that can be used for paw and foot pads?  OOPs, I didn't make that clear, sorry Heather.
I have the leather and wondered if anyone would like some. I have all different colors and don't need it all. Thanks, hugs!!
Heather ,you did an awesome job. Even on dial-up, it is easy and fast to navigate and I loved seeing your bears, felted creations and polymer clay sculptures. I also love your coloring pages and restoration site.
Oh Dilu
gentle hugs to you my dear beloved friend!!
My heart goes out to Loretta's family . She was so kind and hlpful. When I was trying to find answers about a health issue I was facing, she emailed me personally with information and we chatted live on MSN.
My heart was heavy all day and I hoped and prayed that it was a mistake. I see now that her husband has posted here also, it can't possibly be a mistake.
Thank-you Dilu for the pictures   I know she is at peace and I hope her family will find peace as well.
I am on board for whatever our group decides to do in regards to this. So very sad

Wow, they are amazing , I'm in awe!!
I love horses and that one is pure beauty
Is it carved? So amazing!!
I love your site Dilu
The colors are wonderful , pictures are terrific, it's easy as pie to get around and even on dial-up, it didn't take forever to load.
It's a keeper, just like you!!

    to you Dilu for your pain and for sharing good ,helpful information. I just want you to know that you inspire me
and I needed the boost today as I am having a very painful day today. As soon as I'm back to work at school or sell a bear I will be looking for this book and the other that you sent me a link for. I wish they made them on tape as I find it hard to fit in reading time and can't even read 1/4 of the posts on here.
Keep going Dilu , your a fighter and your wonderful attitude and determination alone will keep you moving.
Oh, Jane, I'm so sorry. I know other people use private listing without problems but the same thing happened to me both times I tried private listing and once when I tried buy it now. Hope you can get it all worked out.
