Have a smashing day,
Gaby, who doesn´t give in hoping for some more sunshine
Hi, Gaby,
Summer is winding down here to and the leaves have already started falling from our river birch tree. Freckles just had to go out and play in them! He is not necessarily a fall bear but I think that would be a great challenge as I am already plannign a fall bear and Halloween bear.
Great bear Tami
but then I am a huge fan of your beautiful bears
Can't commit to a challenge but it's a great idea and I hope I can offer something
Love it! Both the concept and Tami's gorgeous Freckles!!
I've been playing with Autumn colours for my show ... this guy is my favourite so far. He's called Honeythunder.
Tami and Paula,
Great bears. I also already have plans for a couple of fall bears, so a challenge sounds great to me.
I would be interested also, Just let me know when please.
Jodi Falk
But we are coming into Spring lovely bears!!!!!
CHEESES, you girls aare quick!
I just emntionedthat we could ... and your bears are already done!
Are you 2 keeping your hubbies locked in the cellar to make your teddies ?
I love Freckles, he is so cute!
And Honeythnder, I love you too but honestly, he looks like a sun god...
...and I don´t even know which mohair to choose!
Jodi, anytime, but I bet between your post and mine, you did your bear already, too!
Sarah, oopsie, weel, maybe we should make an autumn-spring challenge ( that makes sense!   )
Let me think about that
Have a geat day-night y´all!
Gaby
Hi, Gaby!
Thanks for the complements. Freckles was already done. I had just happened to take pictures of him in the leaves on my patio the same day I read your post. I will do another bear for the fall challenge.
Paula, I said it before, but it's worth saying again! I love, love, LOVE Honeythunder!
Tami, that's really kind of you to say ... hey, you're making me blush!
Thsi is (Santa) Clara.....a bear I just finished for a swap to Australia. I named her after the Santa Clara tract in the Adirondack Park....she is (almost) as beautiful as the area, and her color reminds me of the colors of the leaves as autumn approaches......(and she is already to go backpacking....she got a little upset with me that we didn't have time to go before she left)
about not giving in...sigh....sometimes it is hard not to mourn the loss of sunshine.....its happening here too......Last winter was sooo bad.....
