You could always paint a little PVA glue mixed with water on the ends of your ribbon also.  Used to do that in cake decorating - it would stop it from fraying.

As for putting a piccie in your message, it's really easy!

Now, with no spaces, you put your URL of the image in between the  so there's no spaces, so you put it in after the ] and before the [

Yes Louise - keep listing!!  Someone who gets very nice prices on eBay told me it took her a whole two years to get a decent price on eBay, and that was with listing one bear EVERY week. So, there's hope for you and I still LOL

oh they look adorable together!! Soooo cute!! I think they are a perfect fit together.

I echo what everyone says.  I usually make bears about 6" and unfortunatly the bolts meet in a bear that size. 

I have learnt to get my cotterpins nice and tight. Infact, the man at the bear shop who I sold some bears to, actually thought they were nut and bolt jointed because they were nice and tight - yay!

I have a pair of forcepts, but I try to stay away from them as often as possible.  I've put a hole into an arm with those things - I find them very difficult to use..

Well, I guess I'm lucky that my heads are small, but I have never really had a problem with say heads that are 15" (well, heads that fit a 15" bear that is LOL)

I just tend to hold the bear head, and stitch with the other hand? It tends to work for me?

Glad you liked Robs Help.  I think it's a fantastic resource.  When I first started using it, I needed help from my sister LOL and it DOES take ages!!!   Now, whenever I put a bear on eBay, since I have the swing of things, it (only LOL) takes me about 30 mins to 45mins... LOL  And that's with having some idea of how I want the layout!

Gee, Oh My is right about those hairless cats. I love fur, could never have one of the hairless cats, but they are kinda cute in an ugly way! LOL

Jossan, people have given you ideas about pets for people with allergies.  Well, if you wanted a rabbit, you could think of a Rex. Their coats feel like velvet and come in the standard size, and then in the minis - very pretty rabbits, and a more inquisitive breed and intelligent.  Just a thought I had!  They are great for people with allergies.
