okay i just saw ome people who know how to spend the weekend! its  9 am (or was!) and i put snickers out,,he strted barking like  maniac..went to see what vicious blad eof grass was bothering hin ethis time..and there was hot air balloon right over my head! it was so cool to see it so close ( and it must have been COOL its only 40 something here..) and yes my brave doggy had a good reason for barking! who wants to be i a crowd of cranky people arguing about parking spaces when you can be fkying?!  deb

i would shop at the local hardware store for gifts ( and have!) before i would go into that nightmare! thats NOT Christmas to me! im with Daphne..local craft fairs..smaller shops etc..i do occassionally shop late on those days..when all the "shoppers" have gone home to bed! thanks for taking the time to answer i know how nuts the holidays can be..!  snickers uses his paws all the time!  and i did want to reply to your statement about your daughter..first i am sorry for your loss..but if she left you  a rememberance like that she loved you all a great deal! what better delivery "person"?!

we must have spent 2 hrs looking at the litter..they only had males left.it was between a black and white,,and the two largest liver and whites...snickers just kept quiet and snookered us in..i was concerned about how active the blackaand white was,,(HA! fooled me!) hes probably still napping quietly somewhere! we fell for the freckles on his nose..he was hell on wheels for the first two years! he did stay of the shelving tho... :crackup:  :crackup: and hes been  joy. he want to play with our cat but she still HATES him..does yours use his paws? they smack each other back and forth..deb

hey before   lolothey get older and really beautiful like wynnstan ( sir!) and snickers ( mine!)  they start out something like this..  and steal your heart so they can get away with anything! :crackup:   deb

Miillie that is too funny! we have an english springer so i can relate...thank heavens he hasnt thought of that yet! ours came from PA and he's quite different from any breed i've ever owned! we adore ours too! what silly dogs they are!  deb

well....heartsease is the actual name of he pansy..which i have always adored,,and then i lost my dad and my alaskan malamute the following year..there was a period of change ( divorce ) and some depression whilst i decided what to do with my life! i got another malamute who had (as a baby many of them do) a heart shaped mask on his face,,,presto...he was Ice winds Hearts Ease..and as he and the bears eased my heart,,it became my business name!    deb

Daphne..have read this thread with great interest...glad you are feeling better..may not be the ice cream but an individiual ingrediant in that flavor! ( you dont want to give up everything you love!)  i had pre menopausal  systems year before "THEY" said i "SHOULD" so i was ignored while my hormones went wacko! but young girls hit puberty way earlier now and women hit menopause much earlier than in the past! beleive in your  feelings about your body! i use a TIMED RELEASE b vitamin and it made a huge difference for me!  many friends have had huge problems with the energy drinks! elevated counts of something and anxiety etc...also PMS symptoms can overlap with peri menopause and really be confusing unless you KNOW that! i didnt "FIT" either category so they wanted me to see a shrink..which i finally did and she said you have PMS and you are statring into menopause..listen to your body and you are not crazy..and oh yeah,,watch the stress! LOL!! hang in there!  deb

Cheryl..congratulations on your beautiful new dog Jackson!  and how lucky is he to be a rescue dog! you obviously have the loving home he needs..you said hes a "mix"  thers something very english springer about the shape of his face..the "knot" on his head..and the breadth of his chest..tghat would account for the crazy! :crackup:   maybe grandma jumped the fence somewhere? wishing you years of love and joy with him!
