Here is a pic of the new Boston who just joined the terrorist cell at the farm. He is a really sweet 1-1/2 year old male. He's not been fixed, which I will have corrected soon. His testicles haven't descended which means he is sterile, but to avoid complications and the usual problems with an unfixed fog - I'll have him neutered anyway. The other pic is of Butch and one of our new kittens, Lufty.
Marion,
Fred is so sweet...what a smart little fellow he looks like Thanks for sharing the pictures of some of your terrorist cell...lol...love them!!!
Hugs &
He's smart looking but not so small for a Boston; actually none of my Bostons are small. They are all over 30 lb - the top of the breed standard is 26 lb! but they're just big boned...yeah that's it.
Marion
lololol...yup..."Big Boned"...that must be it
Hugs &
What a handsome guy Fred is, I have not had a Boston, what's their temperament like?
Hugs Jane.
I love the picture with both the dog and the cat.
They look like little angels!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I have had many types of dogs over the years, including shepards, labs, Newfies, Dane, St. Bernard and poodles. The Boston is completely different from them - stubborn but very playful and they absolutely love to be with people - need it actually. They are really a big dog in a small dog's body with the appropriate temperament. I know I'd never want to be without a Boston in my life.
On the other hand, they snore and pass gas. They can be aggressive with other animals and can absolutely destroy a chew toy in a moment.

Oh Marion, do I envy you, a new Boston. Fred is soooo cute, perfect markings too. How is he getting along with Butch? And the cat?? My Bostons have hated cats.
You know I loooovvvvve Bostons. (Remember, I have Buster) Fred's 1-1/2? ? Did you get him at rescue?? or did someone give him up?? We got Buster at 1-1/2 from BT rescue and have had him 5 years.
You are ever so right about the Boston's temperament. Last night I brought home a new toy for Buster, he had it chewed to pieces in about 5 minutes. He makes a hole in it then pulls the stuffing out all over the place. But . . . they are your best friend, actually bred to be companion dogs. I'll never be without a Boston either. Pass gas? yes, sometimes at the most unopertune moments like when you have a housefull of company. Snore, yes. The other night Buster and my husband were snoring in concert, I had to go sleep in the guestroom. But . . . they aim to please and be your best bud and, they do not think they are a dog, so please, don't tell them, it hurts their feelings.
What a sweetie!! He's beautiful Marion.........and so is Butch......and Lufty. And aren't they cute sleeping together like that.
So Bostons are gassy and snore.
My mastiff does this too.......quite frequently.
I really think all the pups should come with a gas mask for new owners.
Those are good looking pets! I love the picture of the cat and dog together. My cats won't even cuddle together like that!
Marion: Fred is too cute and with your kitty, how about that! I think they love each other already...
