I just thought that I would share this with you.I received some new eyes in the post this morning and thought I would sort them out and put them away as I have a medium sized container that has nearly 20 sections in it.There all all sorts of eyes in there from sparkly, clear, boot button etc.My 2 year old was trying to get in the way so I thought I would go into the kitchen and as I was trying to put the eyes away my Siamese kitten thought he would have a look but as he did he stepped in the middle of the container and it flipped up and every one of the eyes ended up in one big pile in the lid.
There must be a hundred different eyes of all sizes and descriptions.Needless to say I didn't do a lot of bear making this afternoon by the time I had sorted that lot out
Of course I didn't get angry with him as he is such a sweet lovable little boy how could I not love him

Ah, cats! I chased mine off the table last night were I was painting and she just went to the corner of the table (where I couldn't reach her) and stared me down. I tossed a piece of paper at her and she just hit it back to me right in the middle of my paints. My husband (her favorite) says it was my fault, I insist it was hers.
I would have had to take MANY deep breaths.
No, I wouldn't have gotten made at my furry boys if they'd done something like that but I'd be mad about the task of sorting 'em all out!
I remember a siamese kitten we had about 30 years ago. She somehow got onto a shelve on the wall and proceeded to knock down the various Bunnykins pottery my oldest daughter had received as birth gifts. Broke about 5 pieces and that stuff wasn't cheap then. No punishing her of course but I surely felt like it.

They have a habit of being too playful don't they!
One Christmas our dog Heidi was a puppy and between her and the cat they knocked over the Christmas tree,
and Heidi started to eat some of the little wooden decorations.
You can't get mad at a playful animal.

Awwww don't cats just love bear making bits! mine used to love the ears that were left on thread ready to sew on, he always tried to run away with them.

I can't have cats because of allergies, but if I did I bet I would adopt one that got into all kinds of mischief just like your kitten Laurie. I bet from now on you do a kitten alert before opening that eye box again.
Hugs, Jane.
Naughty kitties! Gotta love em though........wouldn't life be much less interesting without them?
We have four cats who live with us, ranging in personality from sweet to absolutely nutty. And they love, love, love getting into my bears stuff. The incident I most remember though is Vanna, our cream calico who is mostly white, laying right in my palette of oil paints. Most of one side of her body was painted! I had to actually cut much of the paint out of her fur as I couldn't get it washed out well enough and I was afraid she would get sick licking at it.......she did look funny for awhile!
I still have no idea why she would want to lay there of all places.
Laurie: Oh our kitties can be such fun even if they disrupt our bear making. My three siamese love to break into the craft closet and steal peices of fur. When I come home I can tell immediately when they have been little sneaks. I have all kinds of fur everywhere. But how can you get mad at the little darlings?
Last night I found one of my cats curled protectively around a Karen Lyons kitten, purring like a mini lawn mower. The cats wreak havoc on my son's stuffies but have never touched any of my "good" bears/friends, so I don't know what to think of that. It was cute, but I'd be tempted to ... I don't know, dump in a bathtub full of water ... any cat that chewed on one of MY bears.
