Hi Jacky, welcome to Teddy Talk. I don't really know a lot about craft club TV but from what I see it's ok. If you want to learn about making bears then you are in the right place here. We have a wealth of talent here in our members and everyone is so kind sharing ideas and passing on how to do certain bear making skills.
If you go to the top of the page, just a short way down you can find The 'LIBRARY' where you can find many helpful categories such as : Accessories ...Airbrushing... Painting ...Shading...Animals...Armature...ATCs...ACEOs...Bodies...Contests... Competitions...Copyrights...Trademarks...Dyes and Colorants...Ears...eBay...Eyes... Eyelids...General Getting Started...Gollies..Hang Tags...Tush Tags...Swing Tags...  Heads...Joints...Magazines...Mouths...Muzzles...Noses...Patterns...Paws...Claws... Toes...Photography...Image Editing...Pricing Projects...Real Fur ...Recipes...Selling...Shipping...Shows...Stuffing...Fillings...Threads...and more!
There are many areas here on this website, may I just suggest that you just navigate yourself around the site and find out all the interesting things that Teddy Talk has to offer...you won't be disappointed.
Good luck with your bear making and once again, welcome.

Hugs, Jane.  bear_flower  bear_flower  bear_flower

Welcome to Teddy Talk!

Ebearz University (http://www.kranbearys.com/EbearZ/) is a good place to start if you are looking for online classes.    I am doing one myself right now, they are great. They have a beginners class as well. bear_thumb  bear_grin

Hi Jacky and welcome to TT. I have to agree with Jane that you've come to the right place to learn about teddy making and be sure to make use of the "Library." I've been here just over a year and have learned so much, but there's always so much more out there to try. Your first bear is very cute. The fur is really pretty. I think you'll like it here very much. The more experienced bear artists are always willing to answer questions and offer encouragement.

Welcome Jacky to Teddy Talk. Your bear looks adorable. Every time I make a bear, it is snatched up by my Michael or a family member. So, in that vain, be prepared....

As to learning, well the library here on TT has a lot of information. Start there. Another person posted the the Ebearz University which I understand has great classed. There are many bear making books too that you can get off of amazon.com. I recommend these:

Dear Jackie,  You must already be good at sewing, because your bear looks really good.  I like how you put the line of color down the middle of his face.  Now that you have learned the basics, the rest is easy, just be brave and don't be afraid to try the ideas you have in your head.  Sometimes my cutest bears happen because I tried something new
