Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! That's so amazing - I'm just so glad the dog made it! It didn't say anything about the mother cat? Don't stories like this make you feel good.
My good friend, Deborah Burnham of Bearhaven bears, rescued 2 newborn kittens, two weeks ago and has been hand rearing them ever since, feeding them by syringe every two to three hours! She's exhausted, but the kittens are doing fine. If you want to read about them here's a link:

Such a great story. Leo looks like he cleaning up those kittens just like a mama cat. He deserves a very pampered life after such a heroic effort.
