book8.jpgtt5.jpgtt2.jpgbook6.jpgTT1.jpgI made an Ibook as gifts for Xmas, from our Disney and SeaWorld trip in April, and they finally arrived - I am so pleased with them.  It's nice to have a project turn out just as you want it to.   It's such a fabulous way to use pictures and turn them into a keepsake and it's not any more expensive than printing off all the pics and putting them in a photo album!   I'll post a couple of pics.

hey, that's really cool!  what a great idea.  and it's so much more durable than a photo album - I'm always worried about fingerprints on the pictures and stuff.  great pics, too!

Thanks for the lovely comments and I agree Tami, those gifts are the best kind.  I'm more excited about these books than anything else I'm giving or I might be getting.  I had to force myself to wrap them up, so I wouldn't keep looking at them LOL!

Kelly, I agree that it's such a great way to showcase pictures and our grandson can take it to school for show and tell and it's such a nice keepsake.  Now I want to get together with my cousins (I only have 3) and try and pool our pictures and do a family one, back to our great grandparents, so there is a permanent record.  I've always been a little crazy about geneology and old pictures and finding ways to use them, instead of having them in a box or drawer.  It's a great way to keep grandparents' memories alive, too.  I've got so many ideas now LOL!

Ming, I did mine on a Macbook, and had a little trouble because I wasn't used to using a Mac - it's my hubby's new laptop.  I know there are lots of websites for PC's as well, but I had only seen the ones done on Macs, so I knew what the quality was like.  They look like a professionally printed book and it really wasn't hard at all, just time consuming getting all the pictures together and edited.

They are lovely Brenda!  I did the same thing earlier this year, after our trip to Pagham with Stuart's grandson ... it's made a beautiful book and we love it!  I also put one of our first holiday together, to give to Stuart as a Christmas present a couple of years ago ... they make lovely presents!

What a great idea. Carson will love seeing his adventure in his very own book.

Thanks Marlys and Paula!  I agree with you Paula that they make the nicest gifts - something that will be a keepsake forever and it's a great way to mark "special" occasions, like weddings, as well.  I am definitely going to make more.
