I was just wondering how many of you, if any, put tails on your bears.

I put one on the bear I am working on now and I'm not sure whether I like it. Could be the way I made it. Hmmm...

How do you feel about teddy bears with tails?

I love a tail on any bear.  You don't even need a pattern.  Just cut two small half circles and you have a tail.  Sometimes I even do the undeside of the tail in a lighter color. bear_original

I put a tail on a bear once ... how I came to design the shape is beyond my wildest imaginings, suffice it to say it would not have looked out of place at the back of any Ann Summers' shop!  (For those of you who don't know these shops, I will spare your blushes!)  bear_whistle

Since that day, I have admired many a cute tail on other designers' work and resisted all temptation to incorporate any more tails in my own work, just to be on the safe side you understand!!  bear_tongue

I've never done any tails... but the ones I've seen are fabulously CUTE!  I may just have to try one one of these days.

I love all the pics of little beary tails! Thanks for sharing. They're very cute. I've redone my bear's tail and I like it better now. It was too skinny the first time... simply did not look right.

That's what I did on the second tail and it looks much better. Don't know what I was thinking the first time.

No I haven't made many bears with tails.  For some reason haven't even thought about it.  But they do look cute.
