The salmon are running, and the brown bears in Alaska are eating their fill. This live camera at Brooks Falls is pretty fascinating: http://explore.org/#!/live-cams/player/ … ooks-falls

Got a love/hate kind of feeling for this live camera.  The bears are gorgeous and I love seeing them in action.  But then when they catch a salmon, I'm not too keen on watching them rip it to pieces.  Nevertheless, I'm sure I'll tune in frequently . . . thanks for the link, Becky!

I know what you mean, Sue Ann. It's definitely easier to watch them chomping on plants in the woods. But of course it's all fascinating, so I'll be tuning in with you. (Those seagulls are interesting, too. They seem to choose a bear and then stay close enough to pick up the leftovers.)
