I'd heard about the flooding and was so worried about you Daphne  :hug:   I'm certainly glad your home was high enough to stay dry.  Floods are certainly something to respect...all that water moving in a hurry....   a lot of people underestimate the sheer force of it. 

I do hope the college and your old neighborhood can be cleaned and recovered soon.   Sad news about the farmer with the barn and livestock.    We had a horrid, horrid flood in Oregon back in '96, and I'll never forget all those poor cows from Tillamook...simply awful...
