Not from my garden but it is winter in Oz and dry as a bone. I recently finished this rose that I had been wanting to paint for a while. It is done in oils, which I have not used much but I love the blending abilities of it and am thinking I will be using it more often. I hope you enjoy as I know there are some people in here handy with the paint brush. Cheers Susan

What a beautiful rose Susan.

When I first looked at the  :photo:  I thought you had taken a photo and posted it ... it looks so real! I have roses that look like that, a hybrid tea rose, Duftwolke I think it's called.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by to have a peek at my artwork. I only hope my roses  in the garden look as good as this one come springtime... they usually have some black spot on the leaves. I will have to look after them a little better.
