Dear all,

Here are now the pics I took during the last race in Le Mans: remember there were four pilots: François, Lacen, Thierry and Claude and they were piloting the scooter number 144:

Claude.

I don't have photos of Thierry yet (I hope I did take some on the film that is still inside my camera and waiting to be finished...).

I need more coke! I am so thirsty, says Valentino!

Sometimes, sh** happens. The poor pilot was very shocked and ended up at the hospital with probably some broken bone in a shoulder. His team could not finish the race as the scooter brakes got damaged: the brake liquid escaped.

This was the only serious accident of the race.

I have seen a few pilots falling, but they always managed to get back on their machine and finish safely their round.

Next pictures to come will concern what happens AFTER the races.

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
