Hi everybody!
Meet Benny and his lady friend. They are a birthday present for a friend and on their way to Chicago at the moment. The cardigan is made from a pattern by Berta Hesen-Minten, Benny is my design without pattern. He is 6.5 cm tall standing (under 3 in.). His friend is made after Elke's instructions and under 2 in. sitting. Hope you like them.

Cheers

Sabine

Oh "Bine!!!

Both are so adorable! Your crochete stitches are always so impressive.

Where did you find such wonderfully full chenille stems?  Lovely.

Thank you so much Dilu!
The chenille stems are 6 mm (?1/4 in.) wide and I bought them at a local craft shop. Elke sells them on ebay. That's the lady that sells the booklet on pipe cleaner bears, which we discussed earlier.

Lovely! I love these pipe cleaner bears, I've got some sticks that I use in my bear arms, I might have a go. You have inspired me!

Sabine,

Your pipe cleaner bear came out nicely. I was thinking of ordering Elke's booklet but I couldn't decide. Now I will have to add it to my wish list.

The little crocheted bear is adorable and I love his cardigan.

I have been away from bears for some time now, but good thing I checked in now. My 2 year old topic has been revived. Thanks for all the nice comments. I bought the booklet on pipecleaner bears from this website http://www.tinyteddies.150m.com/.
