Just popping in to say hello as I haven't been posting for some time.  I've missed you all!! bear_cry

This addition/remodel project has taken over my existence! bear_wacko Things are slowly moving along (or they will be as soon as the drywall guys get off their butts and show up here to finish that job bear_angry ), and I am slowly losing my marbles.  Quite possibly literally as my doctor had to add a new med to my regimen.  I have trouble with both depression and anxiety, and things have definitely become overwhelming enough that I'm struggling a bit.....so haven't been up to posting on TT.  Thank goodness for an excellent doctor to help see me through this! bear_thumb I will survive however.....I think bear_tongue  bear_grin !!  And I will be back on TT soon I hope and posting up a storm.  I have been lurking periodically though to keep up with what you all are doing and all the wonderful new creations posted here. bear_wub    With any luck, I may have a bear to list by the end of this week.  We shall see......production levels are definitely down these days! bear_tongue  Praying that I don't completely botch this one as I did my challenge beastie recently.  The poor critter ended up in the trash, it was that bad! bear_cry

Hi Tracy!!
I hate it when home projects and remodeling take over!!  We're just finishing up a job that's gone on for 2 years now...that was way too long and it bummed me out big time when I thought about it too much.  But it is almost done and now we're onto another project....there's always something that needs tweaking or re-doing bear_cry .
I'll keep an eye out for your newest creation  bear_original
(How's Midget doing?? I hope she's feeling better.)

Tracy - Hello!! I haven't had much time either to pop in. I only get to post at a few places. Time just doesn't allow to stay on the computer much. Especially with my daughter back in school. She had her first spelling test today. They had 40 words and 15 definitions to memorize. I just about died when I saw the list. She seem to know them though.

I hope the remodeling is going okay. I know what you mean about the workers showing up or sitting around taking more breaks than working. I guess they are all the same in that field. I design homes and my parents had me design an addition to their double car garage for my grandmother to live in. My job was easy. They had only 2 1/2 weeks to finish it before moving my grandmother in. Boy, what a mess. It did get finished and it did turn out wonderful. If the builders would just work and not rush when they do miss several days. They try to short cut when they lose time. I suffer from depression also so I know what you mean. This remodel would be tough on you I'm sure. This to will pass and what a wonderful home you will have.  Thake care!!

Thanks girls for all the words of encouragement and understanding!   It certainly helps to have you all at a time like this! bear_wub

We wanted to get most everything done with remodeling the existing house along with the new addition.  Now I'm wondering how smart that brainy idea was! BUT.....at least all the major stuff will be done, leaving us with only some minor tweaking here and there.  I can't wait!!  I have been taking pictures as we go along.  Got some good ones yesterday of the guys moving the cast iron tub from the garage, around our now really long house, and into the addition.  They had to use the gator to help move it......it's HEAVY!  Lots of grunting and groaning going on! bear_grin Tub is now still sitting in the addition (the guys thought they would move it back to the garage and out of the way again.  HA!!)......the drywall guys will just have to work around it tomorrow (they finally called and are coming tomorrow all day to get finished bear_wacko ).  Anyway, I will get all these pics together......many are still in the camera.....and post them one of these days.

Chrissi-- Midget is doing much, much better.  In fact, just yesterday she snuck out of the yard and was actually trying to climb the tree beside the barn......after a cat I think, the little stinker!! bear_wacko   She's still on the ID canned food, but I've been mixing a lamb and rice dry food with it, which she really likes and is taking well.  So far, so good! bear_thumb

Welcome back, Tracy!!

I'm so glad to hear that Midge is feeling well enough to be naughty--always a good sign

Ugh. Renovation. It's supposed to be very high on the list of life's little stress factors.

You'll be glad you did a lot at once, one day soon. My house has been renovated so slowly over the years that the stuff we did first needed redoing before the stuff we left for last was even started.

Hi Tracy

I was thinking of you the other day and was wondering how your were.

Rennovations on a house are often a major and take so much time and upheaval in one's life.
Just think though, when it is all finished how great it will be!

Sorry to hear that you have not been well and hope that you will be feeling much better soon.
Knowing that you have  TT friends that are here for you, I hope that it helps.

Hugs
Carolyn
