I am so excited and I have to share this with y´all:
8 years ago 10 year old Natascha Kampusch here in Vienna left home to go to school.
She never arrived at school, did not come back home, just disappeared.
The whole police force was out there searching and tracing because they were sure after some time, that she had been killed.
Acts of brutality are even worse when children are involved, and people all over the place had no other subject.
Today, a young woman was found not far from Vienna.
She had fallen out of a car, was in bad shape and seemed confused, but she said, she was Natascha, who had been kidnapped by a man who kept her in his cellar for 8 years.
8 years of pure horror, of frightning, anger, fear and sorrow, and today she had the chance to escape. Somebody had wittnessed how she fell out of the car and wrote down the licence number and the police was able to find out who he is. Of course he has disappeared- for the moment- and I am sure he will have to take responsibility for this. I don´t want to talk about this....this....I dunno what to call him, but every police officer out there is looking for him but most important is: Natascha is alive and free.
Natascha´s mother always said, that her daughter was not dead.
I think this is such a moving story and it should give us all hope. Miracles do happen. Not often, but they do.
So, whenever you´re down, hopeless remember: you can be kept hostage in a cellar for 8 years and still fall out of a car!
I believe in miracles!
I wish you one!
Gaby
Wow! What a story!
Lets hope they find the person responsible.
Imagine now having to re-build your life after all those years! The reunion between Natascha and her family must have been amazing!
I agree - its nice to think that miracles can happen
Thanks for sharing!
Hugs,
Samantha.

Oh boy, I can't and don't want to imagine what this poor girl went through. How amazing for her and her family to be reunited at last. What a wonderful outcome to a dreadful story. I do hope they catch the *******************************( sorry but I don't think I should type the words that he deserves) and throw him in prison for the rest of his disgusting life. what sort of person could do this, he must be sick in the head or just pure evil.
God bless Natascha, I hope she can enjoy her freedom and the rest of her life. I hope it can be a happy one.
Hugs Jane.
Aleta, well, you´re right! After all we do to this planet, I sometimes think it is a miracle, that the sun comes up every morning!

Unfortunately, this won´t help poor Demilola.
I wish you all a smashing day!

What an amazing story, Gaby!
I hope this poor girl finds some peace, and goes on to live a wonderful, joyful life.
At least, now that her kidnapper is dead, she won't have to fear him.
What a breathtaking story! I hope she can come to terms with what happened to her and begin to rebuild her life.
Good grief.................. Absolutely amazing................ I hope she and her family can move forward together.
Yes, what an amazing story - I read about that in our newspaper and that dear little 10 year old - you can't imagine the joy and
miracle of being reunited with her family.
Hugs
Carolyn
We got the news here in Australia about her ... and that the man has committed suicide.
Yeah, I heard it on last nights news....sheesh that poor girl.......
Renae, well, I don´t want to go into all the goury details that are found so far BUT: the girl cried when they told her he had committed suicide and felt sorry for him.
She has a condition the psychiatrists call THE STOCKHOLM SYNDROM. ( They find a name for everything.)
In Stockholm somebody took hostages years ago and the hostages felt sympathie with the kidnapper.
It looks like in many cases people ( especially women) do feel sorry for the one who´s torturing them. They find all sorts of excuses for what this evil person does to them.
Why is it, that mostly men ared the torturers, pedophiles, kidnappers?
Is it the destructive nature of the male human? Must be something in the genes, or is it upbringing and education that makes men feel they need to control, because this need of control is what many men leads to pedophilie.
This is so sickening!
We live in an imoral world, but I try to take to my heart what I read here: BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD....I try...
Best wishes for a good world
