It's basic, but sooooooo much better than what I had before, and my friends do have a full time jobs, so can't spend forever on this, but if there are problems please be honest and let me know.
So please give me your feed back and I will pass it on to my friend who really truly did all the work....

Dilu,
cool!
wicked!
great!
One thing I don´t uderstand- while at work I had a short look at it during my break and it fille the whole creen.
Now that I came home I wante to have a closer look and it´s only about half the screen...both screens are 17 inch screens, so I wonder, why this is because here I have a hard time reading your bio....
But apart fom this hollygolly question I think it is a pretty site!
Have a smashing evening!
Gaby
Hmmmmm . . . it's the same on my computer, too, Gaby. The text stops maybe a little over halfway and there is nothing but a nice lavender color all the way to the right side of the screen. I thought I was having difficulty reading the print because it was so small and I'm so old - especially on the 'Golly Talk' - but maybe if it covered the full screen, I could read it better. But anyway . . . I love your site! You and your friends did a super duper job!
Hi Dilu
No problem on my side to view your new website AND well done!

Hi ya Honey!
Great Web Site! Pretty Colors...easy to navigate! I bet it will do really well for you!
I think I can speak to the dilemma of the site only appearing on half of some people's screens.
When the site was developed, it was done on a screen (monitor) set at a resolution of 800 X 600. About 1/2 of the people out there have their monitors set at this resolution. Those people will see the site as the designers intended and it will fill the entire screen.
The other half of the population will have their monitor set at a resolution of 1024 X 768 or higher. For these people, the site will only fill half the screen. The higher the screen resolution, the less of the page the web site will fill.
People can change their screen resolutions by going into their Control Panel, clicking on Display and then Settings.
To quickly design a site that will fill the better part of the screen for all viewers, create a table on the webpage that is centered, and set a width of 100%. The background of the table can be set to the same color as your page background. Set the cell padding, cell spacing and border to '0'. Then pop your page contents into the table. Voila...the contents will now be centered on all your viewer's monitors.
Hope this helps you out.
bear hugs,
nt

I love the colors and the graphics and the style and the text
I had no problem loading whole pages, but the font size on the GollyTalk page was a bit small and faint for my ancient eyeballs. I had no trouble on the bio page, where the script looks darker and a wee bit larger.
If the pages are not loading on some screens, maybe your designer could reduce the width of the right column a bit?
I'd love to trade links, if you're willing.
I think it looks truly fantastic Dilu
Hugs to the gollies

Outstanding Dilu!! I love it.......especially the story of the gollywog.
Dilu, I've been meaning to ask you......were you at the Teddy Bear Reunion in Clarion this last time? I remember meeting an artist with gollies and am wondering if that was you! I had received a pamphlet of golly history and info from her, but can't locate it now. Tell me please!!

Tracy
Hi Dilu . Your site is really really nice, but i had hard time to read the texts beacause the print seems small.
It's beautiful Dilu! It really showcases your lovely work well. The only thing I would say is that for me, the text is a bit too tiddly to read comfortably ... now that may be something to do with the settings on my pc as Nancy says, because your site is currently only showing as using a little more than quarter of my 19" screen. I really like the overall design - it's wonderfully whimsical and easy to navigate too!
Your new web-site is wonderful Dilu.
I like the colours and it loaded fast and was easy to navigate and see all your wonderful creations.
Best of luck.
Hugs
Carolyn
Love the site Dilu. Can hardly wait to see more gollies.
Just a small comment. As Nancy said, we all use different monitor settings and I prefer websites with relative text sizes and resizing windows. Your site has a set size for windows and text. Not even the function "make text bigger", which most browsers have, works with it. So for people with large monitors your text becomes tiny and almost unreadable. I like websites best where the contents adapts when I resize my browser window and where a standard text size is used that is independent of my screen resolution.
Now I'm veeery tempted to order a golly from you. Just need to recover from summer holiday bankruptcy
Dilu, it looks AWSOME
!!!!!
Love the colors  .
