Here are a few ones of another lighthouse less close to the sea:
It is located in Trezien.
Its characteristics:
-500 m far from the sea,
-1,5 km far from Corsen point which represents the limit beatwen Atlantic Ocean and the Channel (named Manche in French),
-directional lighthouse (means its light does not turn),
-it is 37,2 meters tall,
-it has a white light which is occulted twice every 6 seconds,
-its light is visible up to 23 nautical miles,
-48º 25' 27" North, 04º 46' 47" West.
It was used for the first time in 1894.
It has 182 steps.
Denis, my brother, who leaves quite close to the lighthouse, took us for a drive in his side car (he bought a new motorbike with a side car a few month ago). His motorbike is a collector (a Honda Goldwing of 1982). I had never been in a side car before. he first drove us into town and on the road along the sea coast and then stopped near the lighthouse that we all visited together.
The Fresnel lens:
From the top of the lighthouse, we can see my brother's house and "his" beach:
Another view from the lighthouse:
When looking towards the bottom we discovered some directions to three towns:
