Thank you so much for making us all aware of what this substance can do to people...we should all be aware and also make others around us aware of the harm taking this action can do to the human body.
Hugs Jane.
Laura Lynn - I'm new here but I read your story oh boy. My husband & I own a small air conditioning company and we have had more than 1 call about people somehow getting on the ground to sniff freon out of big residential air conditioners. I work around that mess all the time, hate the smell, try to avoid it as much as possible but had NO IDEA knuckleheads were getting high on it! And this is the FIRST I've heard of someone dying from this it really hits me hard and I'm so sorry. I also live in an area of Texas where I was told at the local grocery store that people go in and buy Sudafed and matches & that's it. So needless to say, you probably won't hear of any rocket scientists coming out of central Texas (HA)! Bless you & may God give you the strength to get through this.

The situation in Australia is terrible at the moment with the Aborginal teenagers sniffing substances, but mainly petrol - it's getting out of control.

We have a HUGE problem here in WA with very very young children sniffing these solvents. I cant even begin to image what their lives must be like.
Its a shame, but no lessons will be learned by these deaths
Then there is the student teacher who put a toddler in a tummble dryer. Go figure
Wendy
