Well I'm back home from my birthday trip. My daughter Sarah paid for both of us to stay in a hotel in Dorset (UK)not far from Monkey World where I could spend each day visiting my adopted Orangutan Hsiao-Ning. I must say that Sarah chose the most adorable little Orang to adopt for me. The park (The Monkey World Rescue Centre) is great. We were lucky to have dry and quite warm days, although Wednesday started off somewhat grey and windy, as you can see by the picture below.

The weather soon brightened up and we went back to Monkey World. Here is Hsiao-Ning, my adopted Orang.

Ooooh Jane, that brings back lovely memories of when we were there last year!   We haven't made it this year sadly - did you see Sally??

And how nice to meet Jim and Alison, they are wonderful.

Jane: Love, love, love the pictures!!! I just saw a special on orangutans and the efforts to save this beautiful animal.....brought tears to my eyes to see all the deforestation and loss of habitat....but there are good people like you who has a piece in saving these beautiful animals....
