Gotcha! bear_tongue

For the first time in my life I'm making bears assembly line style... 6 of 'em! And what a riot! There are currently heaps of body parts, 6 rolly-polly heads and rows of discs and nuts and bolts on my work table. Each bear is the same pattern, just a different color fur. Oh, and all those ears!!!! I hope when all is said and done that all are wearing the appropriate colored body parts!

I've never made bears assembly style like this and feel sort of guilty doing it. I always do the eyes, ears and nose last so once the bodies are all put together I'll then finish each bear one at a time. I will admit that it's an effecient way of doing it.

All this to build up inventory for the Schaumburg show at the end of the month! I'm so nervous about getting enough bears made. I've never done a show this big. I'm all set on my booth set up... and I know it's going to be a ton of fun seeing everyone. But will I have enough bears???????????????????

You got me for a split second.  bear_thumb

Wow that's quite a production line you have going there Daphne. Now about a mix and match bear...I think it could look quite good as long as the mohairs matched in all but colour.  bear_thumb

Good luck with getting everything ready for the Schaumburg show. Lucky for me I had all my bears ready for the show at Ally Pally really early so me going into hospital has not caused any bother. I do have however the paperwork to get done and the bags to finish.

Hugs Jane.

Oh my....it looks like a teddy crime scene...bits and bobbles everywhere.   bear_wacko   bear_wacko

Okay...I've been looking at the news WAY too much!!!

I don't think I could work that way...I'd end up with parts in the wrong places.

Shantell, my  sister in law absolutely hates to see my bears in pieces. She thinks it's creepy!

Daphne, they will come together and you'll have great fun at the Schaumburg show! Wish I was going!
