Hi All
Now that bearpile have changed their way of doing things. charging $10 a month to advertise on there. Is it worth it?
I would be interested in hearing from anyone if they are on it or not. I am thinking about joinng but is it successful?
Look forward from your responses.
I love Bearpile! Really, it's been great exposure for me and has been successful in my view. Sales have been good......usually fairly soon after listing a bear, plus I am gaining in collectors since being a member.
I think it's well worth the $$ each month......and much cheaper than even one featured eBay listing.
I say go for it, Peta!!
thanks Tracey Sounds good
Ttacy,
Did it take a while to get the ball rolling? Do you list your prices or let them contact you ? Just wondering.
You're welcome Peta!
Jodi--It did take a little while to get going...........a couple of months or so I think. Also, I do list my prices. I know if I'm looking at bears (or anything else ), I'm more likely to buy something if I already know how much it is rather than taking the time to ask, so I figure there's probably more people out there like me.
Forgot to add that if I have a bear on auction, I don't list a price while the auction is running........if it doesn't sell on auction, you can always go back and put a price on.
I had two bears on there...got loads of enquiries for them through Bearpile..but they sold anyway..one on ebay and one off the website. I think it's a route to the website which helps a little. I quite like it.
And your right, it will send them to your web sight
I will keep useing them for a while.I figured till at least after Christmas.
Bearpile!!!! I LOVE it. It is my best marketing tool - next to eBay. I have had tons of sales, most of which turn out to be repeat sales. I have to say my sales have increased by at least 3 times since they started charging. I signed up for a year, so I don't need think about re-subbing for another year - it's paid off for me no end.
The trouble is with all the custom orders and eBay sales that I want to keep up with, I just don't have enough time to have bears available on my webpage and through Bear Pile - I no complain though
I was initially worried because I'm in Australia, but it doesn't seem to have put many people off. I say for it!
Danni
Jodi Good luck and let us know how you get on with them.
Danni Thanks for your input sounds like it worth it. I think its good exposure, if any. $10 a month is cheap advertising.
I am defiantly going to look into it
WOW JODI just had a looked at your bears on bearpile. You have adopted next to 2 of them. did they sell on bearpile?
That is excellant if they did
Those sales were not from Bear Pile but I leave them on for advertising.
I love Bearpile! I sold most of my bears through bearpile or they've been routed to my hp. I don't list my prices and get a lot of inquiries as well.
I find it a very good advertising tool and well worth it.
hugs
Thats a good idea Jodi
Thanks for all the info I am defiantly going to join for a little bit and see how it goes
