...today I spent some time tidying up Blossom's field, and of course loving on her and having a right good ole time One of her newest fascinations has been my ponytail. She can't decide if its a thatch of nasty flavored hay, but she's ever so gradually convinced it might be attached to me somehow. Well this afternoon I was busy peering at a young rabbit in her field. Blossom's not keen on anything taking my attention...and a rabbit was pretty low on the totem pole in her eyes! Her mummy should be paying attention to HER, not some silly rabbit. So I was aware as she got a mouthful of water (another new trick is to hold it in her cheeks for ages like a chipmunk), I was still crouched down assessing the rabbit, and she ever so carefully came up and sucked onto the tip of my ponytail. Yep, you guessed it ~ replete with a mouthful of water! I was still interested in the rabbit, so I didn't pay Blossom any heed....not that I was keen on a soggy ponytail, but the damage was done...not according to Blossom's opinion! She began tugging on my ponytail! Okay, yes, that fully got my attention long enough to get it back ~ cheeky monkey
I stepped inside, and when I came back out, I had to go back for a camera...Blossom had decided that it was naptime, and she was all tucked in for a nap in the afternoon sun...
Awwwwwhhhhhh... ... butter wouldn't melt!
Deb, What a huggable-looking horse! Beautfiul too.
I think our cows see my hair as a hay treat as they nibble on it any chance they get. Yuck...but they are cute!
Horses have such velcetly noses whereas cows have wet and slimy ones....but they are very sweet and have big gentle eyes...with long eyelahses.
I have posted this photo before but it is one of my favorites of one of our cows.:
I just love that cow pic, no matter how many times you post it Judi
LOL.... nice to know I'm not the only one that gets her hay..I mean hair sampled!
