I just finished this lion from a Brambleberry Pattern. It was so much fun to do.

What a wonderful lion!  That would be a very interesting addition to anyones collection.

I really love the very long muzzle and how far it comes down so the mouth can be elogated, giving him such a somber intelligent look.
Very artsy and very well done, thank you for sharing your photo.

I used roving for the mane - needle felted on. I think I actually used too much...may have to thin it out somewhat. The mohair is a sparse matted type

VERY nice lion, Marion!  I tried designing a lion a year or so ago.  Sold both creatures that I made with the design, but am not satisfied with it yet . . . so plan to tweak it a bit before I make another one.  This is Louie Lion.

He's precious!  Do you ever sell patterns. I see somewhere on your website about patterns but you can't reach them for some reason.

Hugs,

Sue Ann, that lion is sooooo precious.  What a sweet and endearing smile, and as always, that PAST TIME BEARS look that's so winning.  Cute!

Marion and Sue Ann you've done a great job with your lions. I love all wild life and these two lions are great.
Marion where did you buy the pattern from, I would love to make a child friendly one for my little nephew?

Wow, Marion and Sue Ann! :D

Grrrreat lions--my first imaginary friend was a lion (:P). I love them.

Narnia is one of my all-time favorite places! Aslan --'No, he's not safe, but he's good.'

Jane, I got the patteren from a shop in Calgary. Here is their website.
http://www.out-of-hand.com/index.html
I was fortunate enough to be able to visit there this summer - they have a wonderful selection of patterns, fabrics, needlefelting supplies, quilting, etc. etc.
Most of the patterns are from Bramblebury and what's even nicer is that there is a bear from each pattern in the store!

Sue Ann....I've been to your site several times. On the left hand side the last button is for Moppets and then there is a white box with Bear of the Month, etc.
Can you send me  direct link to your patterns please,

Marion

I love him...reminds me of Clarence the Cross-eyed Lion from my very young childhood.  I had a stuff animal of Clarence and at the time I thought he was enormous...actually he isn't that big at all...my mother still has him...crossed-eyes and all...but very well loved.

Does anyone else remember that TV show?
