AAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!
Don't ask. Just know that for 101 reasons that's how I feel today and I just couldn't keep it in any longer!
I don't want little huggy faces or any of that... it won't help. I'm sure most all of you have had a time or two when you just wanted to scream!!! That's all... just to scream. And it usually takes just one little thing to make that scream finally escape. That's what just happened so figured while I was here I'd let ya'all hear it! :P
Want to join me??? Just let it out!
Me to!!! I have a meeting with the BIG boss tomorrow to discuss the future of my JOB URGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
So I'm sitting down (by myself) having a beer - hubby is out of town working so he isn't even here for me to vent to - lucky guy and his cell phone is turned off!
Jane
SSSSSSSCCCCCCCRRRRRREEEEEEAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!!!
We've all established I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but, I have determined this evening, I AM the dullest knife in the drawer!!
It would seem I have either lost or erased all of my pictures for my TOBY entries!! NOT ONE WORD ABOUT WAITING TIL THE LAST MINUTE FROM ANYONE!!! Do you hear me?
There is no idiot stick for me. I've moved on to the idiot CLUB!!
Not feeling so very huggy,
Aleta
P.S. That beer sounds pretty good about now......and I don't even drink beer! I think I need a double Lemondrop Martini!!
Aleta. Go to Start>Search ; click Pictures/Music/Video (or whatever your computer calls that file type), and then type in any part of the filename you think you've lost. BE sure to type in only what you're CERTAIN you used in your file titles. If you find even one photo, you'll likely find them all, by following the "path" the Search result produces.
See if your computer can "find" iyour files for you. It takes a few minutes but might prove fruitful.
Otherwise, I send... hmmmm... no hugs, but some really teeth-baring, aggressive, pillow-punching energy to both you AND Daphne tonight, and lots of alcohol! Grrrrrr!!!
I haven't had a drink in 6 1/2 years... since I met hubby who has now been sober 18 years.
But a margurita on the rocks with salt in a really LARGE glass would taste OH so yummy right about now!!!
And he's not home during the week anymore so what the hey???!!!
Sorry to hear you're feeling icky...
I'm feeling really peeved, a couple of reasons, one being that a DVD that my Mum bought me is a priate copy + it doesn't even work + I purchased it on eBay and DIDN'T pay via Paypal
It wouldn't worry me so much I had purchased it..............................
Danni
Screaming is good release Daphne rather than killing someone!!!LOL I've been feeling that way myself the last couple of days. Have a margarita on the rocks and take it easy!!
Aleta - I hope you find your pictures. Try looking in your trash bin if you haven't already.
I'll scream with you.......
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
my job is making me insane. Why is it that I have to work again? I seem to be forgetting.
Thanks for that Daph
I was going to say something supportive, but never mind... Laura said it better!!!!
Kelly
OMG, Laura...... how incredibly perfect in so many ways!

Ack, tell me about it. My son Toby needed some Augmentin, a very typically prescribed antibiotic, for sinusitis last weekend. But his dad's insurance changed January 1st, and we didn't yet have the new cards; in fact, dad didn't think he even needed new cards, and doesn't remember receiving any. In any case, of course Toby needed his antibiotics right away and couldn't wait for the arrival of insurance cards, because he was full of goo! (Actually, when the doctor asked why we were at Prompt Care, that's what I told her: My son is full of goo! Teehee.)
Anyway, we had to pay $99.00 for 20 pills which would ordinarily have cost us $5.00. Coming right on the heels of a pricey Christmas, that really hurt.
Sorry to hear you're struggling with the same bozo system, Shantell. My thoughts when this happened were, "This is 2007! How hard can it be to look up the SAME insurance company, the SAME insured party, employed by the SAME employer -- nothing has changed -- and find the new coverage information, without all this 'I'll need to photocopy your card before I can provide benefits' B.S." Criminies.
Can I join in the screams !! I'm just having one of those very frustrating, unproductive days. This too shall pass gals , tomorrow is another day. Until then, WHERE"S THE CHOCOLATE !!!!!
Oh Shantell... I'm right there with you on the new medical insurance thing!
Kim Basta
We all have those days!
I would be screaming too if I wasn't sitting at my desk at work surrounded by my colleagues!
One of my bears that sold last week I haven't been paid for as the purchaser is on holiday in the Caribbean and the other sold on a fraudulent buy it now. So the $200 that would have gone nicely towards my school tuition fees that I have to pay next week is now no longer coming in and I can't afford to study without it so I have to put of the study for another 6 months. I am reallly really really ticked off.
And naturally it was the auction that I had had the most prospective interest in ever that was the fraudulent one. Flipping typical!
OOH all this screaming is giving me a headache!!! Just kidding!! I do have one and it hurts enough to make me scream. I've just been really stressing out about going back to school and work after my lovely NINE YEAR maternity leave!!
So, I'll Join in this silent screaming AAAAAAUGH!!!
Speaking of screams... as a sandwhich caregiver (young and old) my support group gave me some advice about screams.
Did you know that if you stick your head in the clothes dryer and scream the accoustics are far more effective. I try to do this once a week.
hugs,
nt

Now that I have to try !!!!!
Me too!
Though I'd rather put all those causing me to scream in the dryer, on high heat, for 60 minutes! HA! What a visual!
