I don't have a studio. I usually just completely spread out and take over the living room. Then I either turn on the tv or put cds on.

I usually put my stereo on with some loud music... or I put on a movie I love, one that I've seen enough times that is does not distract me.... well not too much.. heehee.

I use to love to listen to talk radio when I was sewing.. but I've gotten kind of tired of the same old
ramblings.. lol... but at least it was something kind of new everyday! I think it's different when you
sew all day everyday.. When you have to work away from bears it is nicer to just be able to sit
and have peace other than being at work... but when uyou make bears full time you just want to
know what is going on outside.. lol.

Kim, it sounds like we are kindred spirits LOL!  I love Law and Order, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace and on and on and on.   I'm not as fond of CSI - they overdosed it and I got tired of it all.  Best of all I love the BBC murder mysteries even though most of them are reruns - Midsomer Murders, Touch of Frost, Murder in Suburbia and I've just discover Sea of Souls, a paranormal drama.  Lots of good stuff overseas!

Lynette
I´m not the TV watching-teddy-sewing, rather the in-front-of-the-PC-sitting-teddy-sewing fur spreader ;)
When I make bigger bears, I sew them in the basement, usually several at a time, because I always have more than one teddy half done.

A few months ago I started to pack up my footpads and feet to sew them together in my lunch break. This way- I thought- I´d save a lot of time and even more calories. Well, one can be mistaken

Since January we have a time clock card thingie, that stresses us even more, but also won´t let us go home 10 or 15 minutes earlier * sheepishly grinning looking around* ( I hope my boss is not a secret teddy bear artist  )
So I do a wee bit of sewing before I leave for home. Mind you, it is after midnight then and my eyes do get blurry from time to time :(

Sandra, I´m sorry to read about the health problems of your parents- this is sad, and I know, how frustrating it can be, spending hours waiting for somebody at the doctors. You seem to have little time for yourself, I hope you don´t get left out!
By the way, I just realised: I subscribed the the Australian Bear Creatiions a few day ago! I have realised, that you have it in your avatar :)

Daphneoh wow, didn´t think, that sewing teddies was THAT dangerous! bear_shocked
