Hi there,
     I just scheduled an auction that is not showing up on ebay, even though it is activated in my ebay.  I need Live Help, but can't remember how to access it.

I think you go through help and it comes up with an option for live chat help... lemme see if I can find it for you.. brb

Hi Brenda!
go across from the search boxes...there's a yellow bubble with a "?" in it.  BUT you will wait for 15+ minutes for the rep to tell you that a listing can take up to 8 hours to show.  It's typical with high volume weekend listings anymore.  AND if you revise you can add another 8 hours to that wait time.  (they don't refund you for your lost time)

     Live phone help just closed and it says it is for Ebay stores, which I dont' have.  I'm looking for live chat on the computer, which Chrissi pointed me to and I'm off to try and get someone.  I know its showing up when I click the link and it's also in MY EBAY as being listed, but when you browse the listings for the time it  is supposed to have started, it's missing.  There are no viewers, other than me clicking on it.  Talk to you later.

What you're describing does happen..all the time.  The listing is out there, but due to system's loading and backing themselves up it takes longer now for listings to show in the category...esp on the weekends.  It's happened to me and others out here. 
I just don't want for you to wait online for 30 minutes to hear the same thing...it's frustrating.

    After an hour of arguing that I wanted to cancell the auction and the person on live chat, telling me to be patient and it would show up eventually, I told her she and I could chat until it did, because I wasn't going to bed until it was in the listings.  Suddenly they let me cancell it and refunded my fees LOL!  I'm away tomorrow, so I will relist it on Sunday.  Thanks to you and Kim for all your help.

Wow. I JUST got off LiveChat like 30 seconds ago. They were able to solve my problem. I am sorry you had such a time with it. My problems weren't as involved as yours I dont think. I couldn't get the total count of bids on a sold auction, which I knew had more than a few. They fixed it.

Thank you, Cheryl!  I was pretty pleased with myself, actually.  This lady on Ebay, had me dancing in circles for over an hour, refusing to give me a refund.  I was trying sooooo hard to say polite and business-like.   I'm sure she must have thought I was nuts, but hey, I got my money back!    I also printed out a copy of our conversation, so I have proof it the refund doesn't go through! Now it appears there is a real glitch with ebay and listings are disappearing.  I'm glad I cancelled it.
