I have gotten a question from a customer if I could sell "onyxbead eyes". What is that? Anyone know?  bear_wacko

The only thing I know about them is that they are sometimes used in miniature bear making.

Hi Jennie

I think the person means small black pearls.
They are made of onyx and can be used as eyes for mini-bears

Jennie: they are beads that are made of onyx that people use for eyes. Used mostly for mini bears. You know the type. People use beads for jewelry. You can buy them form most teddy bear suppliers.

Hi Jennie,
They're small round beads (no loop for inserting, just 2 holes to thread through) made from black onyx.  You can usually by them by the strand in sizes like 1-4 mm (+/-).

Hope that helps! bear_flower

Hi Jennie
Some Miniature bear makers use them for eyes because they come as small as 1.5mm in diameter. They are very nice to work with. Onyx is a type of quartz stone.

Hi Jennie,

Intercal has them.  Here's a link to the page (it's down toward the bottom): http://www.intercaltg.com/catalog/suppl … l#growlers

I'm thinking Sassy's has them too.
