I purchased some items from a Craft supplier on eBay, and now they have refunded my money because the item is out of stock...I thought that the item had to be available if you put it up on eBay with a BIN, I know in the auction it said that they sell with various forums but I would think that if you put it up you make sure you set it aside. Has this happened to anyone? I really don't want to get into the whole report them and such to eBay because it was only $1.00, but I was really looking forward to getting the item as I have the project underway already, and now have to find the same item elsewhere and wait for it once again. Any suggestions? Like I said they did send me a refund...

Dolls N DreamsThat has happened to me before also, I did a BIN and after about 2 weeks I kept thinking well where is it.
They told me each item had to be made and it might be another week or two. I told her the auction did not
state that!!! She refunded me my money!
I just let it go! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
You are suppose to have the item on hand in order to BIN.
They are trying to sell items they have not invested money into to see if they will sell. And to me that is wrong.
I guess you could get away with it if you could order and receive the item in 2 day and then ship it out.
But that would never happen so I don't know why they do it.
What is it that you ordered Krista? ... is it something that any of us might have hanging around? ... happy to send you some if I have any of whatever it is..

Awww....sorry.... don't have any noses at all Krista. Darn it... but mabye somebody will have one for you...sure hope so. Don't you have a little shop in Victoria that has bear stuff anymore?.. maybe a nose or two? I seem to remember ordering eyes from Victoria one time. I know they have a great doll club group there...!
What about Dear Bears Marketplace in Richmond? are they still around?
Delartful BearsWell, I recently found out that that you CAN put on a Buy It Now if you don't have the item in stock, but it needs to be listed as a Buy It Now.
I recently listed a custom made bear on eBay. Some pathetic person dobbed me into ebay because I didn't list it as a PRESALE (I don't consider this a presale) and that my itemw ill be shipped within 30 days. You need to list a certain quote in size three font. So, I had to add all this info in my auction and re-list grrr.. Gee some people are pathetic!!!!
Anyhow, they didn't do the right right for you. You are allowed to sell pre-orders as long as you state that in your uaction.

OMG Danni, I can't believe that!!! Right in your auction title is stated custom made bear, what did they think you could do read their mind, snap your fingers, and voila, here's your bear!!??

Delartful BearsOh Krista, it's just some nasty person getting a kick out of seeing my auction pulled! I swear, some people have nothing better to do with their time!!!
I wish you the best of luck - I hope you get your $500 - and the person is honest. Perhaps the buyer has a feeling the doggy will go over $500 so she wants to get in quick, just in case? I dunno!!!! But I know that it can be hard to wait out an auction, with the chance of it ending without you winning.
