oo thank you Maria, I had no idea this would be appearing!  Would it be possible for you to translate what the text says?  I unfortunately can't speak German!

HUGS,

Hi again
basically, its along the lines of...
you make wonderful bears. It would be lovely if your bears and our readers could meet at a show, like  Teddybar Welt in Wiesbaden, or the Euro Teddy in Essen
Best wishes, and keep up the good work.....

I'm sure someone else could do a more accurate translation, but that's the gist of it! Germany is the latest in a long line of countries we've lived in , and I think my brain has run out of space for new languages...well - that's my excuse for not speaking it better!!!

oo Maria, I SO understand what you mean about learning languages!  I've been living in Belgium for 5 years now and sometimes feel like my head will explode trying to keep up with Flemish, half the time I speak a mixture of english and flemish and shouldn't think anyone except my fiancee would know what I was talking about  bear_happy

THANKS for giving me an idea of what they say and for telling me that my bears were featured bear_original  Do you think you'd have to speak German to go to one of the fairs in Germany?

Yes it is difficult, Catharine.....worst was when we lived in the Netherlands - I don't know why, but the Dutch are just SO good at languages - I felt permanently guilty!
As for doing shows here, while not being particularly good at the German language - well - I survived!!!
You have to keep in mind  that everyone shares the same enthusiasm - BEARS! Just have a look at exhibitor lists from say, Teddybar Total or Teddy bar Welt, and you'll see that exhibitors come from all over the world.
You'd still have time to register for Teddybar Total, in Munster...it's at the end of April...have a look at
www.teddybaertotal.de      BUT - if you DO decide to give it a go, you'd need to be quick, as hotel accommodation tends to run out! If you want any more info, mail me privately...

yikes, I don't think I'd have time to get enough bears together for the end of April!  But I hope it will be a great success for you.  I've never done a fair so they do rather daunt me!

Maria, I´ve been to a teddy show only once in my life: last december. Or was it november? Anyway: I was there as a visitor, and liked it. And I´ve been pondering about going to a show as an exhibitor.... not sure yet though  bear_wacko
Are you going to any of the Austrian shows?

Thanks everyone for your sweet congrats, it's just a shame that my bears name Bumpkin Bears was not mentioned so people could find me... oh well, it is still lovely to see their photos there.
