I hope you can forgive me for posting this here, I am just so excited.

I have also posted this in the show and travel section but I know not everyone checks there.

Hello Everyone

I'm VERY excited to announce that I am ready to start accepting applications to exhibit at the Calgary Artist Bear Show August 4th 2007. The show will run from 9:30am - 3:00pm and promises to be a great show with some fantastic artists already signed up, a table selling artist bear greeting cards and supplies.

If you are interested in a table, or just coming by to look you can go here for more information and the application packet.

Hi,
Great to hear that the show will be taking place, and I would love to attend.   Unfortunatley for me, it's too short of notice, and I already have plans for that time period.  To book my holidays at work to accomodate shows, I need to know about them by November 1st of the previous year.

Hopefully I'll have better luck for 2008.

hugs,
nt

Hey thanks for taking a look guys.

Having it in Sept, or Oct would GREATLY inflate the costs of the tables, and I really wanted to keep the costs down as much as possible.

Thanks for the support! I just know this is going to be fabulous.

Nancy, next year you'll have LOTS of notice!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool, I think August is a good time to have a show.. people can plan their vacations around it...
I know I will at least drive down to see the show... Which is nice because in October I would not
even think about it because the weather can be pretty volatile..
I hope I can manage to participate, exciting to have something to look forward to!

Hi Heather,
How exciting! I just got home from our trip down south so I hope I'm not going to be too late to get in on the show! I had intended to come home with a ton of bears made but it just didn't happen so I'll have to sew like crazy now - if I can ever get all caught up and back into my routine again! That is great that we won't have to worry about the weather and bad roads to get to the show - one good thing about having it in August for sure!!!
I'll get my application sent into you as soon as I can.

Now Canada is a place I have never visited so I have to add a bear show onto my list, plus I see Nancy is advertising some" on hand classes" so looks like I have to start planning a trip to do a class and maybe a show to that side of the world. With my son getting married this year in October I think I must see what 2008 brings forth.

Thanks everyone,
I'm soo excited, already some awesome artists have signed up and I'm so humbled. I can't wait to meet them and see their bears!

Lynette, you SHOULD come to Canada. I would LOVE to swap houses with you, as I've always wanted to go there.  bear_tongue
Danni, can't wait to see you there!

Edie, I'm soo excited to see your bears in person! I'd better get sewing as well!

Thanks again everyone for your support.
Sorry to all that can't make it.
