I always see such beautiful ribbons on so many artist bears and don't know where to buy some myself. Does anyone have a favorite website for ribbons? I'd like to view a wide selection of different colors and sizes.

I generally go to our local store. It is called the Warehouse and I can get rolls of ribbons all colours and width for about AUD$2 per roll...
I love www.mjtrim.com - they have a fabulous selection, but it always takes a while to arrive with me here in the UK!

Thanks guys! I checked out all those websites and I was thrilled with the wide selection! Also, I stumbled upon another fabulous ribbon website that I'd like to share with you all. It's called www.jcarolinecreative.com. Now with all these ribbon websites I'm never going to be without beautiful ribbons! I was getting bored with the poor selection at my local craft store.

The hand dyed ribbons on this site are, well...YUMMY!! They look like strands of pulled taffy. Great site!!
I absolutely love the hand dyed "old english christmas" and the"chocolate rose" ribbon.

This got me thinking... i wonder if there is a tutorial somewhere on how to hand dye ribbon.... hm....
Oh, I get mine from craf stores, fabric stores... I HAVE TONS of ribbon, and I mean tons! I have over 100 spools and lots and lots of loose ribbon...
Sometimes Joann Fabrics and ACMoore will have bags of ribbon really cheap (loose ribbon without a spool) and I have found a lot of neat ribbon that way!
silk ribbon should be as easy to dye as wool/mohair with acid dyes
Thanks Kim!!!!
Chrissi,
I LOVE those handdyed ribbons on that website too! I've been browsing through them and they are just gorgeous! I want to buy them all! Those are the prettiest ribbons I've seen in a long time.
