Hi Jenny,
I'm patiently waiting to hear how it went as well and I'm in Canada    I'm really sorry you had to miss out on all the fun.  I'm just on my way to bed - it's 3:10 a.m.  I guess I have to wait until the morning to find out.

Hello Girls,

Well, speaking personally Hugglets was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

A really very busy show, manic at times.....the atmosphere in the halls was buzzing! When I arrived, a little

later then hoped due to traffic hold up, the queue outside snaked back into the distance.

The first few hours just went in a flash...so many people to talk too, press, and even at one point in time an

ITN film crew, filming for London weekend  Television! As much as I had hoped to get around and chat to a

few TT's....I  couldn't really leave my stand till mid afternoon. But did eventually...get to chat to Paula, who

was in the same hall, and also Christine, and Diane, who all seemed to be having a great day! Of course our

Jane was there with camera to record the event, so I'm sure she will be adding pictures soon! Also Laurie,

Chloe, and Gemma came to say hello, which was lovely!

All I can say is it went so quickly....and today I'm totally exhausted...but still on a high!!!!!!

(And glad to say almost all of my bears found new homes!)

Well, as usual, we got lost in Knightsbridge!  I've been doing the show for years and yet still managed to get lost every single time!  Fortunately the journey home was a sinch and even the traffic was unusually light.

As Yvonne has already mentioned, the show was really well attended ... just like the good old days!  Hugglets are really managing to sustain their reputation for providing a great show each time.  I didn't stop talking for the whole day and by about 2.30pm I was fit to drop!  I brought three bears home with me, but was pleased with my overall sales as the total amount I made echoed the show's takings last February.  As you know, I only took big 'uns with me and although the bears were bathing in glory all day, there was definitely a noticeable lack of big bear buyers doing the rounds this time.

I didn't get to look round the show unfortunately, because I was busy all day, but it was a real pleasure to catch up friends and I was so pleased to find a moment to slip off and find Diane to introduce myself en route to the ladies! We had a lovely natter and I have to tell you, her Wee Scones are so beautiful 'up close and personal'.  The TT'ers are really friendly at shows and it's always so nice to spend some time face to face, rather than online.  By the way Yvonne, I hope the shoulder eases up soon!  I'm not surprised Yvonne's bears found homes yesterday, they are gorgeous and I absolutely love the way she trims them.  Somehow I missed Chris this time ... no doubt she was tied to her stand all day, selling her fabulous creations.  I really wanted to get over for a quick chat and a peek at the sculpted face bears and the Toby award bears too, but sadly, never quite made it into Hall 1 where Chris was exhibiting.  In fact, I only managed a couple of loo breaks throughout the entire day and didn't even get as far as the mohair suppliers.  It sounds daft, but it really is hard to get away from our stands when we exhibit at a show.  We could all do with a grand get together that is purely for chatting and having fun!

My exciting news for yesterday was to be approached by Hamleys of Regent Street to ask if I would be interested in supplying them and having them showcase my work ... it was most unexpected and I am very flattered indeed!

Well, despite being admired yesterday, to the point of developing big heads, my Isadora, Just Joshua and Rosie Lee are still hoping to find their special someone, so back to work for me today!  No bear-making, but I do need to start planning their futures ...

Yes I completely agree!!
It was a fantastic day.  The time flew by as the morning was so busy.  Loads of my bears found new homes, and the atmosphere was buzzing.
It was lovely to see so many TTers. Thanks to everyone who came and said hi!  Yvonne - I missed you as everytime I went past your stand you were either very busy or you weren't there!!
I know Jane took lots of photos so I'm sure she'll share them when she is ready.
I find shows so inspirational.  I bought loads of lovely new fabric, and when I got home I was so 'on a high' that I cut out a new bear ready to make!!  Unfortunately I've got to go off to work in half an hour, so back down to earth with a bump this morning I'm afraid, after two weeks off to prepare for Hugglets!

It was a great day at Hugglets and it was so busy.I managed to speak to some people but the time just flew by and a lot of the teddy talk stand holders seemed to be busy all the time .It seemed to take so long to get to see the stalls when there are so many people about-I am sure I missed some bear_sad
Thanks to Jane for taking all the photos bear_original

I was sad not to be able to go natter to all the other people selling that I knew but was on my tod a lot of the time.I had two really nice guys next to me that helped out and I got to the toilet and to run and buy supplies.
I sold most of my bears and got masses of orders this year.I brought home a couple but its time for a website update so I am releived as I totally forgot its feb and there are only 28 days!!1WWhat a numpty,I have promised an update and the end of this month.I will be sewing like a loon again for the next two days.
It was great to see all of you and I had a long natter with Paula ,who is by the way really stunning up close!!!just like her bears.I got a look at them breifly while jogging round.
I dont know about the rest of you but I snet a lot to Japan???I only went this year to see if I could get more scones staying in the uk but as usual most are off to warmer climes. The big stick bears were very popular and I wish I could have made more to take.
Thank you everyone that came to see me it really was a very friendly happy day and I met loads of lovely people.Paula is right it did feel a bit like the old fairs did.

The day for me was very busy and sold lots of bears to customers old and new. Some came back who hadnt been for a few years so maybe bear collecting is back on the up ,hope so !
Didnt have time to have a proper look round ,just rushed to buy supplies and caught up with friends old and new and nice to meet some tt members too.
The show did have a buzz and the queues were right round the building to get in.
I also had the delightful company of Diane who stayed with me and travelled down to the show with her Wee Scones. First pic is from Saturday ,last min sewing ....
