Greetings for all readers
Has someone here ever make a turtle off mini mohair
or painted a pattern one mini mohair?
After the painting a wanted to make some embroidery one it
when i make the finale shape.
I am still locking for ideas
I love turtles but have never made one. If I were to make a turtle I would airbrush the shell. You could get some really nice smooth shading. If you don't want to airbrush what about trying painting by hand. I think you could still get some nice effects. I would layer the colors starting with the darkest color and ending with highlights....maybe even embroider around the shell sections for an outline. Just thinking out loud.
Judi thank you

You could use a stipling brush with acrylic paint. Use the brush as dry as possible and build up layers of colour.
I mean dab off paint until there is only a little colour to apply to the fabric and do this over and over.
I have seen a turtle made out of mini fabric in a magazine years ago now. It was something I put to the back of my mind as a possible to do. But who has time to do them all.
I cant wait to see what you do with this turtle.
