Has someone here ever make a turtle off mini mohair
or painted a pattern one mini mohair?
After the painting a wanted to make some embroidery one it
when i make the finale shape.
I am still locking for ideas bear_rolleyes

I love turtles but have never made one.  If I were to make a turtle I would airbrush the shell.  You could get some really nice smooth shading.  If you don't want to airbrush what about trying painting by hand.  I think you could still get some nice effects.  I would layer the colors starting with the darkest color and ending with highlights....maybe even embroider around the shell sections for an outline.   Just thinking out loud. bear_innocent

It is done with inked pencils
alcohol and a teethbrush to make it as a shadow
airbrush must i still learn

You could use a stipling brush with acrylic paint. Use the brush as dry as possible and build up layers of colour.
I mean dab off paint until there is only a little colour to apply to the fabric and do this over and over.
I have seen a turtle made out of  mini fabric in a magazine years ago now. It was something I put to the back of my mind as a possible to do. But who has time to do them all. bear_grin
I cant wait to see what you do with this turtle. bear_thumb
