Never done twins before but... I have sold a set of 3 in a family ,a bumble family. A mom and Dad with a baby . SOOOOOOOOo I guess it depends.

I would think that it depended on the type of pairing....

I have a ballerina holding her arabesque pose and her baby-they have to go together

yours are adorable little ones, aren't they, but they don't seem like they have to go together.....

What do you want to do?  Do you know? Maybe that's the whole key?

Perhaps you can get double if they go together and perhaps no one will buy them together, but will snatch each up individually, and it is just as likely you will get more separating them....

Boy what a fickel business we are in... bear_rolleyes

well, I was no help to you at all.....

Hi Cat,
So far I have sold about six sets of twin bears. Some years ago I made twin bears, a boy and a girl. I sold one at a fair and the other one was left behind. He didn't sell in a whole year but sold at the same fair the following year to the same lady who had bought his twin the year before. The lady told me she had regretted not buying both and was so pleased that I had saved the second bear for her, not that I had but she went home very happy and so did I.
You could try offering your cute bunnies at a slightly reduced price if they were sold as a pair, that's if you really do want them sold together.

Hugs Jane.  bear_flower  bear_flower  bear_flower

Glad you posted this, I have the same dilema myself, I have started with the intention to make a "basket of kittens" but they have been a ton of work and the reserve I would have to set on the three together would be very high, and have been asking myself would it be better to split them up and sell the seperatley to give three different people a chance at one kitten or to keep them as a litter?

P>S -  Seriously - I don't know either - I have seen people who do 2/2 or 3/3 buy it nows on eBay, where you can buy the 1, 2, or 3 and I have seen lots of people just buy one, and some buy the whole lot - that might be the way to go?  Or if on a webpage, you could have the price for one, or the set.  A little cheaper for the set than to purchase as a single.

I sold a pair of gollies, they were not identical.  I tried selling them separately but its didn't work.  A lady fell in love with them and bought the pair.

TEABAG--GYPSY-013.JPGI took my two bears to my local bear shop and would have loved for them to go together as they were just suited. He sold them both within a month and  I should have asked whether they went together but I didn't and now I will never know bear_sad

You guys are so silly, I have decided to go with two kittens at a time, seems fair, and will keep the price lower for collectors, who knows if it goes higher than expected I may add the third as a suprise...oh and they are all a bit different!

I adopted just one of a "brother sister set" because at the time, I could only afford one.  I was so glad she was willing to separate them... because I just love this little girl bear so much!

Here you go...I listed the two together, and glad I decided to do two as three would have been too much for their basket!!!

Thanks for the lovely comments on my kittens....after three different bodies I finally managed to get something I was happy with...the scary thing is the heads were the easy part, and the bodiest caused me extreme stress!!
