For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
OK I just spent the whole afternoon driving to OHIO , which is 1 1/2 hours away to buy these stuffed animals, our town is completely sold out and my son, LOVES THEM!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone else have a son or daughter that loves them?
I jus heard about them yesterday Jodi, a store near us says they get about 50 phone calls a day about them. He said they can't keep them in stock and they are now starting to have a hard time to even get their orders filled from their supplier. I just looked at the web site, man they are adorable I saw about 5 that I want . I'm sure you kids will got nuts when they get them .
big hugs
Shane
My boys love them, particularly my 7 year old! He has six of them, five cats and a panda I just bought for him. He also loves to give them as gifts. He saved his allowance and bought one for a girl in his class and two for his brother. It was so sweet.
Did you find any in Ohio? Our local Hallmark only had 2 designs left! This is one of those ideas that makes me think, "why didn't think of that?"
I know, they are great!!!!!!!!
My son who is 11, LOVES them and everyone in his school has them, he got his a year ago this past christmas and it was a chihuahua, we just got a real chihuahua and I just bought it because of that, well in all the christmas activities he lost the tag, so for 6 months he never went to the site, then he found the code and he has been hooked ever since.
I must say I am hooked on the games at the site, and I love decorating their rooms.
OK I LOVE webkinz too!!!!!!
Tammy they just retired the grey cat and unicorn so if you see them, get one, because they will be on ebay soon for a ton.
My 11 year old son loves them too! He is a cat lover and so has all the cat ones. The clerk at the store where we've gotten most of them, told me that it is almost exclusively BOYS that want them. How unusual is that?
Wyatt loves WebkinsWorld too!

I've never heard of them. Got any piccies?
My daughter is a webkinz fan too. She has about 8 or 9 . They we so popular here last year that people were supposedly tearing the tags off for the codes . Some stores now only put the tags once when you buy the toy.
Gemma, they are cute, and come with an access code that allowed you to create an account with a virtual online pet like the one you buy. The account expires after a year so you must buy a new toy to keep it active- clever ! You have play games to earn "money/points" for food, accessories etc. Kind of a neat concept and they are about $10-13 depending on the size. Here's the site. http://www.webkinz.com/
Click on Tammy's link that she gave and then take the Tour !! What A GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD idea , wish I would have thought of it !!! I haven't seen them yet !!! I will have to look around !!!
Ok, I may have 5 kids, but I am sooooo out of the loop about these webkinz. I asked my 10 year old about them last night and he said he didnt know what they were. We did a search and found that they are like beanie babies...what is the draw to them? I just read something about the tag in this post....something about a code?? A code to what?

My daughter has 7 webkinz. They're awesome. Really got her involved with the computer and has improved her computer navigation and typing skills. She loves them!

They are amazing, I told my husband to try to buy stock in the company, but it is privately owned I knew when a stuffed animal could capture the boy market too, they were going to do really well, boys , girls and adults love these things. I thought what a great going away to college gift, to get a girl, say if you have a dog and of course she can't go with her to college, but get her a webkinz dog to take with her and name it the family pets name.
Here are just a few of the rooms my son and I designed, they started out as completely blank room, no wall paper or flooring.
They also have outdoor areas you can design
