Hello Teddy Bear Friends. My friend sent this to me and thought you would enjoy it:

Hercules was recently awarded the honorable distinction of Worlds Biggest Dog by Guinness  World Records.

Hercules is an English Mastiff and has a 38 inch neck and weighs 282 pounds.   

With "paws the size of softballs" (reports the Boston Herald), the three-year-old monster is far larger and heavier than his breed's standard 200lb. limit. Hercules owner Mr. Flynn says that Hercules weight is natural and not induced by a bizarre diet:

"I fed him  normal food and he just grew".... and grew...... and grew..... and grew.

Oh My goodness!!! that is insane!!! bet it costs a fortune to feed him...he is gorgeous though! Bet he has his own room too with a king size bed!

  WOW!!!  Gotta love that big ole puppy!!!  He's got my Mastiff beat by a good 60 pounds........and the neck size by 6 inches.  Hard to fathom, and I'm used to a big pooch around!   And look at the size of his head........whoa!!!

Wowie zowie !!! That is one big dog !!! I sent the picture to my oldest son , he wants a big dog !! I asked him if that was big enough !!! :crackup:

Oh Amelia!  You beat me to it.

I was looking this up on snopes, but couldn't find it.  Didn't think to look under "photos".   

Hercules was on GSN (Game Show Network) a few weeks ago, on the "New What's My Line".  He was a beautiful dalmation that stood about 8 foot when on his hind legs.

that's not the same Hercules I saw!  that's not even a dalmation!!

OK... here's my edit:
Gibson is who I saw and he's a spotted great dane.  duh!!

Amelia is right. It appears from this website that Hercules is the largest and Kell is the heaviest.....

:crackup:  :crackup: I looked this up too.........I was wondering about the dog actually being an English Mastiff, but thought he could possibly be a brindle in color........but his weight would have also been much, much more than stated.  So........I found it too on snopes! :redface:  :crackup:
