I haven't been able to find Teddy Bear Club International magazine in the newsagents over here for ages!  Are other aussies having the same trouble?

You can see back issues on line here but I noticed they need up dated.

That happened here in the USA years ago for our main two magazines, very sad. I can only find one of them now at one place, a news stand store.Oh and a fabric store but the other magazine I can't find any where. It is very sad !! I do hope TBCI doesn't end up like that..... isn't it a beautiful magazine? I have 2 pictures in it this issue # 160 issue. and issue 159 they did a great article on me .I love them !!!

Hey Catherine- I've seen it in Chadstone, Boronia and Pakenham lately (well I guess its late January since I saw it in Chadstone now I think about it lol) - oh and I think Fountain Gate last week? It's around, just have to luck out and see it at the right time I guess..... All the bear mags are so expensive now its no wonder people arent buying them hence, not easy to find.
I'd love to know why overseas magazines such as the Model Train ones my Dad gets are like $10 each and our bear ones are $15-17?????

I'm not 100% but I think you have to pay to read the online magazines now.....

No...you can still read them for free. Along the top left, pull down the date menu and you can select up to June 2007 to read online. The most current issue is never the one that comes up.
TBCI is hard to come by here as well and the subscription rate is too high for me so I always read them online.

Thanks everyone for your responses bear_original  Karen, I was at Fountain Gate last weekend and never saw it - but I think they have 2 newsagents, maybe it was at the other one.  Certainly down here in the Frankston/Mornington Peninsula region I haven't seen it for about a year.  It is a good magazine and I used to buy it regularly along with TB & F.  Oh well, I'll keep my eyes peeled for it and in the meantime have a look at the online issues.

Hi Catherine,   the best one I have found at FG for the magazines is the one up the top near the Commonwealth Bank, the other one rarely has any interesting overseas magazines of any kind- and yes, their subscription rates are astronomical specially for us when our $$ is worth nothing next to the pound bear_sad
I did manage to pick up quite a few back issues at the show a couple of weeks ago tho, that was nice!:)
