This is not the sister-in-law (Sonya) that you all sent good wishes to the other week but another sister-in-law.
Once again our family is feeling very sad, Cynthia my husbands youngest sister has died from the dreded cancer that is rife in our family. Yet another family member taken by this aweful illness, she fought the illness for four years. It is because of Cynthia's illness that the doctors finally found the gene that has taken so many of our family away and that is why my daughter Eve has had her breasts removed a couple of days ago. Cynthia's husband died five years ago of bowel cancer which leaves their daughter who also has the gene. She, like my daughter has been very brave and had her breasts removed a year ago.
Please everyone, I beg you all, get yourself checked, it's not worth leaving it, the outcome can ruin familys.

oh Jane honey......i am so so so sorry...its just too much for one person to deal with and i wish there was something i and all your friends here could do to help you.  you are such a genuine warm, loving and giving person it just isn't right....i am glad at least that you learnt from her illness and your daughters have been able to be tested and in Eve and your nieces case, prevent it.

Oh I am so so sorry to hear your sad news.  I have been thinking about you and your daughter over the last couple of days  - I can't believe that you now have more sad news to deal with.

my deepest sympathies ..thats sooo hard..we lost our daughter in law very suddenly a few years ago..only 35  then my brother in law at 49..itsgrathat you daughter has the courage to face this and be so pro active. fear can be worse than the uotcome sometimes..our prayers are with you   deb

Oh Jane, what a terribly sad and difficult time for your family.  Some families seem to be affected by Cancer so much more than others, and it can only be positive that your daughter and niece have been so aware of their health as to have these operations to prevent more heartache.  My deepest sympathies to you and your family, and let us hope that there is a brighter future ahead for you and your loved ones.
