My hubby and I were involved in a hit and run this morning. We are alright and so is the other lady. Some people really bother me that they can be so dishonest. She told us that the truck she was driving was not hers and that she would be back with its owner. She never came back! Lucky for us the highway patrol officer was able to find her. Guess what? The truck was hers. Luckly all I have is a splitting headache.
OMG Jenn...glad you and hubby are ok & they found that lady!!!
Hugs &
Glad they got her & you are ok.
so glad you are okay.
A car accident is so horrible, we were involved in one 10 years ago, no-one was hurt but both cars were wrecked. I am still nervous if I am a passenger and there is lots of traffic around.
Its okay if I am driving for I feel I have some control...
Hi Jenn, 17 years ago we hit a badly maintained tree that had just fallen, a few seconds later and it would have landed on the roof, the car was smashed front, back and all the sides as it wrapped itself around us. I thought god was shinning on us as we only had a few scratches and I was literally laid in the front passenger seat after it happened good job really as a branch had dented the roof in to only 2 inches above my laid down head, but Oh I thanked god we were ok. Ok moving on about 6 years and my husband starts to suffer neck pain which spreads up over his head, after 2 years of suffering the doctor asked if we had ever been in a car accident and upon our reply he said my husband had developed arthritis in his neck due to whiplash, I now suffer neck pain also. So please when claiming on your insurance remember to ask about physio etc, see your doctors as it sounds as if you have a hurt your head/neck or spine.
So sorry to be the voice of doom but one never think of the long term effects, ones just grateful to be ok
I hope that both of you are ok for now and the future
Love Sue
Ps I still hate windy days, trees, being a passenger and sharp bends
Thanks guys! Right now I have a head ache but I think it may be the heat.
So sorry to hear that! Glad you are alright though! Take a nice hot bath and relax!!!!!

Oh how absolutely scary! and how dare that woman kleave the scene of an accident.
wicked evil person.
I am so glad that it wasnt any worse than it was and you and hubby are doing fine.
So glad it wasn't worse, Jenn, and I'm happy the police found the very tacky other driver!
Jenn what a scare! so glad you are OK..... and that other driver... well, she should also be ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident.. so hopefully she got into a lot more trouble
I will be paying attention to my health for the next couple of days. I was told that I might be sore today but I am just really stiff.
Jenn: That is good news you are o.k. I would imagine the women caught was charged and booked.... That was a dumb thing to drive off like that. Thank goodness the police caught her.....
Oh Jenn - talk about some people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to hear you are OK - you can be proud that you did the right thing anyhow!
