Sophie Z'OursWhat a beautiful day we had together.
As some of you may already know, Carolyn Green and Martin, her hubby, went for holidays in Europe from her small island in New Zeland.
They first spent one week in England and then went to Paris (where they are still having a great time).
I proposed them to visit us in Le Mans (54 min far from Paris by train) and they gladly accepted the offer.
They arrived yesterday morning at the train station of Le Mans at 11:00 am.
They are really lovely people and I easily recognise Carolyn, thanks to the pictures she left on her website and on TT.
We took them to the old part of Le Mans for a walk which they enjoyed a lot. We stopped in a great restaurant in the old town and have a yummy lunch with a good bottle of red wine.
After lunch, we went back to the car to go to the famous car museum of Le Mans where we discovered lots of old cars (earliest from the XIXth century) and amazing old racing cars.
After the visit of the museum, we just had some time left to go to our falt to show us our collection of teddy bears and clock and have a drink together.
Then we drove them back to the train station and stayed there until the train left.
We had such a wonderful time. 
The weather was very sunny. 
The day was too short though.
Carolyn and I both added a new bear to our hug, as I gave Bella Dona (see Showcase) to Carolyn and she gave me Hyacinth. Hyacinth is a really gorgeous bear she made about one year ago. 
I took lots of pictures.
Here, i just add a few ones.
If you ask nicely for the pictures of the old town, I shall make a new thread for them in the live report area... But only if you promise you will come aand view them, cos it is time consuming and i hate wasting my time!!!

We had such a great day with Sophie and Malko and it was so kind of them to show us around
Le Mans - the old part of the City is gorgeous - cobbled streets and gorgeous old houses.
Also the Le Mans car museum was great to see all the old wonderful cars that I have only ever
heard of. My favourite car was the beautiful old Bugatti!
Also I have added Sophie's lovely bear, Bella Dona to my collection.
