I just got a sample copy of a brilliant book: "How To Start A Home-Based Craft Business" by Kenn Oberrecht. It's the 5th edition, so some of you may have seen it before. It has info on business plans, sourcing supplies, taxes, publicity and marketing, setting up an office, sample invoices, using computers, finances… I'm sure even longtime business owners could find something useful in this book.

Does it offer financial resources so one can just hire an adnimistrative assistant, accountant and marketing manager?

I'm sorry, Mindy. I couldn't resist.

This book sounds great and I'll have to pick it up for some good 'winter reading' once show season is over. Hmmm..... I'll put it on my Christmas list. Mom is already asking for one!
Thanks for recommending it!

Sounds great! Thank you for the tip. All of us have scraped through our business ventures and have learned along the way. Some lessons harder than others.  bear_grin
