Okay, it doesn't take much to tickle me (obviously ) We sold our itty bitty workhorse white truck to my Father in Law back in January
, when he graciously swapped us for a bigger, 4x4 desperately needed for towing, Blossom's hay, and of course, simply being able to get out out with the deep snows we had.
I'm not attached to vehicles...I'll admit it, if its got four wheels that drive, and turns on when you turn the key, I'm tickled with it. However, over the months, I mourned and moped, and 'logicked' my way again and again over why the red truck was better than the white truck for us. But the fact was, I can't drive the little convertible we have (I can't see out of it, 'cuz I'm too short), and the red truck's longer bed and oddball turning ratio have left me panicked about even attempting to drive it.
Last night, after some false yes/nos, Father in Law let us have the white truck back...and in a heartbeat I ended up driving (unheard of!!!) 2 1/2 hours home last night following Eldon
Okay, okay, I'll admit, my driving's rusty, but my itty bitty white truck is back home, and I'm thrilled to bits :bday: :bday: Father in Law even insisted that the Guardian Angel hedgehog statue ....duly dubbed 'Tigglewinkle' stays with the truck
Tiggy must've been working full force last night
Oh! Debbie, You sound so happy...... I am happy to know you got your precious white truck back,Now you are able to see where you are going huh  Just Kidding! I liked your animation, guy driving and that little angel is he so cute.Where do you get these from. I sure would like to know so I can send my friends through e-mail when I write to them. All the ones is here are so cute too.
 I love the new smiles too... a friend showed them to me. You have to 'import' them as an image into a forum, just like you do a picture, but I get them through http://www.cosgan.de/smilie.php?wahl=3&ziel=liebe
I've gotten a pic of my Tiggewinkle that I'm hoping will show up here...
He's my little Guardian, and I shall keep in in the truck always now
Here is another pic of him out on the console between the seats
He is something of a 'totem' with my mother in law and father in a law
I'm with you Debbie! I find it really hard to switch to a new vehicle - I just get used to everything about the car that I drive and hate to change. We just bought a Honda CRV as we really need 4 wheel drive living out here in the country and the car it is replacing is my Honda Accord.
I haven't driven the new car yet - we still have the Accord as we are giving it to our daughter once she sells her Honda Civic but I think she is a bit like her mother and reluctant to give up her old car so I may get to drive my Accord for a while yet!
At least your car gets to stay in the family
 I know what you mean about getting attached to them. But when you think about it, cars really are a big part of our lives
